Xbox Series X

Coming from the xbox 1x it's definitely a upgrade having it for over 6 months and having vent breathable covers it dosent sounds like a get engine is turning on evrytime I'm playing a game

I have my series x still launch and i am still more than satisfied with it. The hardware is just perfect. I also bought a series s some time later, so that i am able to play at my girlfriends home as well and use cloudsaving to continue gaming at any place. Last year i also bought a PS5 because of GOW and Horizon and i had also lot of fun with it. [...] After having all these systems and also limited time, i said i have to sell the xboxes or the ps5. If you think in terms of ownership, even then digital is not that bad. I’ve owned digital games since Xbox 360 and I can still play them to this day on my Xbox series X. But not all of my physical games CD/DVDs are in mint condition and some have scratches.

This is a big miss for me. I can’t use my TVs 120Hz VRR mode without HDMI 2.1. I realize the Xbox Series X is beleaguered at this point, but apart from playing games that are on Steam but not Xbox, I can’t see why I would prefer the Steam Machine.

it meets or exceeds the ps5 and xbox series x, so it might not be top tier, but it'll be fine. I have a plenty good time on my series x, cant think of any stutters.

I have an xBox series X, a 32" 4K monitor, an HP EliteDesk SFF PC/homelab/media server and all the assorted gubbins to make everything work, that survived a 15h international flight with one layover packed in my checked luggage. Strategically placed underwear and socks can do wonders to protect things.

I have an 6 yo LG OLED and bought a Xbox series x on release. I've had the firmware update disabled too, because I couldn't think of a reason why I would want it to update. [...] Well, when I got the Xbox, it worked. But a few months after, it wouldn't receive any signal on my TV. After some googling, it turned out that the Xbox had a firmware update which now made them incompatible. [...] So I updated the firmware on the TV for the first time and it worked again. A few months later, the same happened again and I was forced to update another time. So, just as a cautionary message: if your TV has appliances which need to be updated connected to it they might become unusable/essentially bricked if you decide to do that.

The portability was amusing but then turned out to be absolutely phenomenal (and likely resulted in multiple sales to individual households). It both saved them from having to work out what to do with the handhelds, and introduced parents to "the kids can just bring it with them". I have an Xbox Series X and I'm still not sure I got "the right one" but since I got it as a glorified blurry player that can also play games maybe, it's fine as is.

I got it on Xbox Series X and I'm annoyed that the menu screens sclhow mouse buttons in the bottom corner for the controls, like it's not been properly optimised or converted for the Console at all

That’s hilarious, I was just thinking the other day that I owned it on Xbox series X, but I don’t have a copy of it on the new PC I bought this year. I was thinking about buying it again once the expansion comes out and now I don’t have to.

Nintendo lost me after the N64 which to this day I still hold dear. PS1 XBox 360PS2 PS3One PS4 One X Switch 2 PS5 or Xbox Series X Just my opinion and my journey, but in the weeks I have had the Switch 2, it has reignited my love of gaming in a way the others couldn't.

i’m going to be real, i’m having way more fun with the xbox series x than i have had with the ps5 these last couple of months. it’s mainly the inclusion of xbox 360 & original xbox backwards compatibility that i have been enjoying. gamesky

I wanted a PS5 but they were unavailable at the time ended up settling for Xbox series s I love it! I ended up buying a Ps5 and selling it. I still have my Xbox series s, and I still play it almost everyday.

Upgraded from a Series S (loved that little guy!) and the difference is astonishing. Soooo glad I did!

I still have a good chunk of physical copies of Xbox 360 and Xbox one, so I went for the series x. Very happy with it.

I have a problem with its cooling fan that from time to time stops … any solution?

I got my kids a Series S and more recently picked up one for myself. I don't have a state of the art home theatre or anything so a Series S is all I need and a great upgrade from the PS4 I bought off a friend years ago for a hundred bux!

I have a ps5 and series s, as much as i love the exclusives on ps5 i still play on my xbox more due to game pass saving me soooooo much money. I ordered a series x because of this, the series s is cool but i got tired of a lot of games being capped to 30 fps with no performance mode options. [...]

I bought a series x a month ago and i play it more than my PS5. With starfield and game pass I haven’t touched my PS5…until Spider-Man drops of course lol

For me the Series X is currently unusable because of a years old sound issue that causes crackling in the XBox menu and which translates into games even causing grafic glitches (and I'm talking about popular and recent games like Starfield or Cyberpunk).
