I recently purchased an Xbox Series S for NZD$180 to re-play GTA4 (and Episodes) as I never got to finish it when it first came out, and to get through all the GTAs before GTA6 comes out. 512GB Series S consoles in NZ are now retailing for close to $1,000. Might have an appreciating asset on my hands!

I bought a not too expensive TCL qm6k with game master mode. Whenever it detects Xbox series S input, it turns on the mode by default. On menu it stays at 1440p but when I start a game, it switches to 4k 120hz- and the input lag becomes horrible! Turns out it does not even care if I set lower resolution in Xbox display settings. At the 1TB mark you're only looking at an extra £50/£60 from a HDD to portable SSD, so that actually seems worth it. As I am selling the XBox Series S I bought to tide me over to PS5, i can justify that. Especially when the cost to buy these games physical now is more expensive. [...]
Hmm. Seeing this I think I will try and re-sell my Xbox Series S that I bought a few years ago. 💰 (Bought it for the sole purpose of wanting to play Starfield but I hated the controller so much that I couldn't stand it, and now Starfield is finally available to Playstation anyway.)

I've sold things on FB Marketplace before, I decided to sell my Xbox Series S as I no longer use it, its just collecting dust and since I got the Switch 2 I've actually been using that a lot. I've gotten over 100 offers for it over the day and it boggles my mind
