Dang and now my Sony-MDR 7506 only has audio in the left driver. I've been using that pair of headphones for nearly a decade so I guess it was bound to happen eventually. I like this pair of headphones so much that I'd rather just get another working pair and keep the old one as parts.

Same for the MDR-7506! Speaking of wireless, their battery problems over time have already bit me, will continue buying "dumb" ones in the future.

Also, my Sony MDR-7506 headphones are there. Something I bought after having my 3rd pair of Sennheiser HD280pros fall apart as the plastic aged, and so far, other than needing new surrounds every couple years and replacing a broken wire with bit of soldering, they've been fantastic headphones.

People swear on the sony MDR-7506 headphones, they are relatively cheap and often used in music production. I got a pair recently and cant complain for now
How good do you want? I've had a Sennheiser HD650 for 15 years and still love them. I have Sony MDR 7506 if I want to block outside noise more And there's a ton of good stuff above and below both price points

I've had 3 sets of Sony MDR-7506 over the years. They're not cheap (nor outrageous), and very good sound. 1/4" barrel screws off for 3.5mm use.
Not to be a walking advertisement, but I really do recommend the Sony MDR-7506 large diaphragm headphones if you're looking! They aren't cheap, but they'll last forever, promise! I wholeheartedly recommend since I've had them for months now! [...]

I bought a set of Sennheiser earbuds specifically so I could go hiking in the woods behind my house with my digital Walkman. (My primary headphones are Sony MDR 7506's with a very long cord, which makes them unwieldy for walking around.) It's now been raining for a week straight. WTF, Montana?
been doing a little experiment where I go back to my headphones (specifically my Sony MDR-7506) after daily driving my current IEMs for basically a year. readjusting to the sound of cans you haven't used in a year feels very weird lol
