I got my slim 2 years ago & Still works like new 🆕 god of war visuals are top tier

I've had my ps5 since 2023 and there isn't a single scratch on it. [...] When I got my ps5 it was pretty much a set it and forget it vibe. [...] When I charge my dual sense I use the ports from ps4 pro because I keep that console on in rest mode and completely power down my ps5 when I'm not playing it.

Despite it being what it is, i will always prefer my ps5 and switch over my pc. I spent 2000 on a pc which couldnt run new games as well as my ps5 and even broke down less rhan 6 months of owning it due to some internal bs. My Og ps5 i got on launch is still working and is cheaper and never gives me problems.

Original PS5 don't overheat and mine is black. Still going strong 5 years later. It's greater

bought one a few months ago . added a disc drive and a ssd . Not noticed much difference from my ps4 pro . Enjoy the console and it’s a nice downsize from my old fat ps4 pro .

I’m from Germany, and in January I got an amazing deal here — the 21er model with a disc drive and a 1TB SSD for €414.99, brand new from an official retailer. At first, I wasn’t sure, but then the price increase happened, and I was really happy that I got lucky😁

Just got mine a couple of weeks ago and it is a wonder. The UI as well as games run absolutely flawlessly. It is especially great for digital nomads.

I love that the new PS5 Slim has the matt finish to it, but I am so happy I bought mine when it still has 1TB storage

I recenly bought a 2100 mode with 1 tbl a day before Christmas. Bought it for $450. I wouldn't buy a ps5 for over $500 excluding taxes because it was it's launch price.

I got mine for £295 on black friday and got a further £130 reduced because Amazon messed up my delivery so badly it took them 2 full days to find out where it was while I had to stay home and give them a OTP. So that saving means I can get an increased SSD and disc drive for less money than buying either the digital edition or the standard. I'm quite happy with that.

Btw I just got this model with disk drive in pre Black Friday offers. The disk version comes with 1tb ssd and internally has the metallic fan cover 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm glad i bought the 2023 model, but i do like the matte plastic better then the gloss plastic.

I got like 3 variant colored plates off Amazon for my slim and love rotating them- currently on carbon fiber with vents for the fan, and have a color ring LED around my fan so those lights show through amazingly. One thing I LOVE about my Slim over my Series X (aside from many other things)- is the fact that it looks like a work of art. It's a unique sculpture that takes front and center of our entertainment setup. Makes me feel rich vs just middle class every single time that I look at it.

I got the the PS5 Slim 2000 model with 1 TB for 450 USD before tax just a month ago, so I guess I saved money that I didn't wait for a sale lol

Never thought that the PS5 would be literally twice the price that I bought it for at the start of this year. Sony's greed know no limits.

Scam Sony I will never buy a console again in my life I fully switched to PC only this generation there is literally no point of getting a console when both Xbox and Sony exclusives are on Steam/Microsoft 😂

I still have my original launch model PS5 (Disc Version). Still works no issues.

Sony historically has lowered the build quality with slim versions that's why I tend to run my launch models for the entire generation unless they break which it hasn't happened to me yet in 20 years. My launch PS5 is still going strong.

i think i got the best version. its the 2nd wave base ps5. before disc drives were optional, but with the slightly upgraded hardware and controller

I got lucky and got one on sale at Walmart for 300 with no disc drive. It was cheaper there than anywhere for along time

I got the PS5 Slim for Christmas. Love it! College Football 25 is very fun to play well.

To be honest I love the default white and black. All these years we've been getting black consoles, and this one is a breath of fresh air..

I have two Playstation 5's, one is a Digital Version (which is my favorite) and the other one is a Disc Version. Both my Playstation 5's are also the orginal first generation versions. I like the way they look way better than the Slim.

I wasn't a fan of the white color myself. Sure, it looks kind of nice, but I've always had a black PlayStation since PS2. It just feels off. I've saved my white plates, though, just in case of reselling. But I splurged on the Midnight Black ones for my slim, and it looks like a PlayStation now.

I just got a slim last night. I'm still riding the high. LOL

Bought the slim version this year. Best buy of my whole life honestly. The hardware is 120% better than the outdated ps4.
