Pixel Watch 3

I'm so glad I got the hardware I wanted to get, my PS5 Pros, my Google TV streamer, my Pixel 9 Pro XL, and my Pixel Watch 3 XL, which I all got last year. I'm honestly going to sit it out on hardware this year unless I really need it because with these tariffs I know prices are about to go crazy.

I was using a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch from 2016 for 8 years, had to replace the battery once but it served me well otherwise. It actually still works fine, but just recently I finally changed it out for something new, a CMF Watch Pro 2. I have a feeling I am not Google's target demographic for this...

I opted for the woven band n mine has broken I used fabric gorilla glue to put it back together perfect fix but disappointed it would break so easily after 6 months alone

God, that is tempting. I definitely don't have the money right now but I'll have had my 1st gen pixel watch 3 years in December, which is normally when I look at upgrading my watch, and that Core Time 2 looks very tempting... I've missed my Pebble Time since the day I replaced it.

I have used pixel watch 3 45mm and used it over 6 months. [...] I do enjoy the basic function that Fitbit app provide with sleep tracking and sports.😊😊 I don't know if anyone has the same wearing issue like me. I would need to remove it several times a day since it feels less comfortable than pixel watch 2. I don't know if it's the curved back in 45 mm let me feel less comfortable.😢😢

On the topic of watch bands, for me, the price is the issue. I've been rocking my PW2 for a year now, and while I did buy five cheap third-party bands to mix up the styling, ultimately, I've ended up just wearing the original active band that came with the watch for the majority of my year of use, which isn't even a colour I like (I opted for a gold pixel watch, but the gray/green band that comes with it is just so... [...] The cheap bands didn't attach properly - some of them would rattle in the quick-release housing whenever the watch vibrated, others would refuse to lock in to the quick-release housing, and they irritated my skin and kept sliding around on my wrist. [...] 🥴 Oh but don't worry, the most expensive option is only £8.71 a month over 24 months with financing? [...]

Surprised no one has mentioned Gemini. That's the highest value add feature for me. I have pixel watch 3, which I got cheap second hand. Gemini is a little laggy but still useful. [...]

I'm not sure if my Pixel Watch 3 is much more efficient than your 4 or if by "constant use" you literally mean scrolling through it actively for hours at a time, but I only charge mine maybe twice a week. It's on at all times, connected to my phone via Bluetooth and to my Wi-Fi network when I'm home, and I actively manage any push notifications I get from it, but otherwise it seems to idle fairly efficiently.

NFC payments via Google Wallet running on my Pixel Watch 3 connected to a phone running GrapheneOS works just fine. I use this regularly. (It doesn't require Google Wallet to be installed on the phone.) At least one of my cards required Google Play Services to have the location permission when initially adding the card though.

Yeah, I agree. I have a Pixel Watch 3 and generally like the circular form factor. I wish they did more with it at times, but I feel like that's kinda what I'm seeing from the previews in the OP blog post

I just got a Pixel Watch 3 a few weeks ago and have been pretty impressed with the battery life so far. I'm getting 36-48 hours with always on display turned on. The Apple Watch that it replaced barely lasted 12 hours.

The large version of the Pixel Watch 3, with the brushed silver metal links band [1], isn't quite the same aesthetic as the Fossil 6 but is a lot closer to it than the Apple Watch. I have the pixel watch 1 37mm 18mm and it's more or less the same exactly the same. That's a good thing.

I bought the Pixel Watch 3 to replace me old Fitbit watch. Poor choice, as one of my major forms of exercise is swimming. The Pixel Watch 3 is fine for tracking steps but is virtually useless if you wish to track swimming.

I have a Pixel Watch 3 (and a 9 Pro for my phone) and tbh, other than Fitbit being kinda ass at what it does, I'm in love with both.

Had the 45mm, sold it. Returned my pixel 9 pro, now got a s25 ultra with the ultra watch. Pixel phones need to use snapdragon then I'll be interested again

Of course I buy a Google Pixel Watch 3 only months before something as slick as this drops. Eh, still, it's been great for the fitness tracking, finding my phone and otherwise keeping me active. Hopefully Pebble is still alive and thriving at the point my current watch gives up the ghost.

I just got the pixel 1 right when they discounted it. 😂 Ive had A LOT of flag ship watches. And nothing's come close to the first pixel. Probably gifting it to my elderly mother in and getting a new one 😂

I bought a Pixel watch 3 so I could listen to music at the gym without my phone in my pocket using my Pixel Buds. I am using the Wear Music app to copy music to my watch and listen to it on my buds without my phone around. I also wanted to be able to record my fitbit data.

i love my pixel watch but as i have to use a second watch when away for more than a dAY BECAUS ETHE PIXEL WATCH IS NOT ABLE TO WIRELESSLY CHARGE WITH MY SAMSUNG WIRELESSS CHARGEING ITS ABSOLUTLY A NO GO IN FUTURE PIXEL WATCHES. I HATE IT BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS, PROPIORTY ANYTHING SUCKS BUT HAVEING TO TAKE YEAR ANOTHER CABL4E IS UNACCEPTABLE IN 2025. in my opinion.

Having a watch that need you to charge daily is stupid imo. Yeah the watch can reach 2 days if turning off everything, but then why should i wear smart watch. Minimum 5-7 days is a must for smart watch

"it looks aodter and feminine" I hesistantly (because i enjoy people's reactions to my "traditional metal Citizens looking watch" only to find out its a smart watch) suggest the full metal bands on Amazon. The bands really take your watch to the next level. You dont look weird when youre dressed up and deciding between the rubberband strap smartwatch look with a suit and a traditional watch without the smart features. They have leather strap metal case full watch cases as well.

I just bought a Pixel watch 3 (45mm) today and am getting used to using it. I have some experience with a Fitbit Versa 4 and a Pixel 9 XL Pro so it isn't to much of a headache learning to use it.

After the march update my watch started to have a lot of issues. Beware

I like the four days of battery life I get just for using the PW3 as a regular smartwatch. I care less about the health feature so those are disabled as I personally find that a gimmick. Not as smooth as the Galaxy Watch Ultra, but I do find the PW3 fits better.

Google needs to fix their shitty tech. My Pixel Watch 3 bleeps at me about a text I just replied to, the screen wakeup is laggy as fuck, and I can't go walking with it too far from my phone even though it has its own wireless connection. What a fuckin' crapshoot.

Smart Watches/Fitness Trackers are so good for when you hit the gym! I've been using my Pixel Watch 3 and I love that you can actually see your progress through your stats in the fitbit app 💪🏻

Just bought the 41mm as it was offer, did look at the one plus watch 3 but it would look comical on my twig like wrists.

I've been using PW3 since November first with Pixel 8a and now with Oppo Find X8 pro. Works very well with both.

I have the Pixel Watch 2. I have transferred it between phones 4 or 5 times (I have 3 phones). It was super easy each time. I'm not sure what is happening for you.

Don't bother, I had the pixel watch 3 for about a month and could not reconcile the lack of Facer compatibility, what an idiotic move by Google, sold that junk and got a Galaxy Watch 6 instead, the last Samsung watch that's still compatible with Facer.

The YTM app is poor. No support for podcasts is confounding. And when I use Spotify instead to listen to offlined episodes while running, playback sometimes stops completely when the lap notification occurs. But AI. Meh. Fix the shortcomings first.

I bought it with great enthusiasm. But the battery life disappointed me. I use it with the always-on screen off and if I workout for an hour or two, my watch battery definitely doesn't last a day... [...]

Note about carrying an extra charger with you: on a whim, i was running low one time, so i plugged the pixel watch charger into my pixel phone, and it used my phone battery to get to 100% on the pixel watch. I assume all USB c phones can reverse their charge, but at least my pixel does. Also, after this, i leave a USB A to USB C adapter in the car so i can always plug in my watch charger in case it's running low (rather than use my phone).
