Bought an Google Pixel Tablet only for GOS. Installation worked like a charm and all my applications are still working without problems. Loving it.

9 years, 3 tablets, 1 active: Pixel C (2015) Pixel Slate (2018) Pixel Tablet (2023) I'll forever remember a different tablet, the Google Pixel C, as the best Android tablet ever made.. I felt at the time, as I still do today, that the Pixel C deserved a simple update with new components to give this hardware design more time to shine. IMHO all Pixel phones are just developer devices and you can't seriously use them as daily drivers. I've had Pixel 3XL, Pixel 5, Pixel 8, and Pixel Tablet all without issue. I realize that can't be everyone's experience, but the idea that you can't "seriously use" these devices is untrue.

This is the first time I'm using this pixel tablet I bought for spousal unit thinking it would make a bigger better Google Home control screen but it didn't because it behaves like a tablet and has stupid tablet security etc. I feel like a moron trying to get this set up I'm not used to stock

I have had a pretty easy time adjusting to Linux but I must admit I also cheated a bit I replaced PaintToolSAI on desktop with Clip Studio Paint on our Pixel Tablet and have been using that as my primary method of art and it rocks

Mildly interesting/annoying: I bought a tablet earlier in the year. I already had 2x Google nest and a Google phone so thought made sense to buy the Pixel tablet, especially as could connect to the Nests for a speaker system. Anyway despite correctly setting up the speaker group it wouldn't work.

I continue to be unable to get the Mountain West app to show the Hawaii game on my Pixel tablet. So it is on my phone. And I had to lean in realllllll close to make sure I was reading that score correctly.

Spent HOURS today pruning my photos as apparently I've used more than half my Google storage space and I'm not paying those fuckers anything more than I already do. (Would've been nice for them to fully reveal their cuntiness before I bought pixel tablet and phone but are any tech bros good guys?)

A couple days ago I got a new stylus for my pixel tablet so I've been working to try and get the hang of drawing digitally for first time and leaning new software. To practice I've been coloring panels of my favorite Tokyo Revengers characters. I think it's not a bad first attempt at digital work!

Now that Mac Mini is smaller, it's almost viable as iPad sidecar to run MacOS and Linux VMs. The ultimate dongle, with "I should be a hypervisor" graffiti. Pixel Tablet with GrapheneOS has less limitations and will soon have Linux VMs, but lacks a keyboard travel case, and has been discontinued.
