Around there I'd suggest then Pixel Buds Pro 2, normally $230 but i think with the sales on atm its like $160? Been using them for just over a year for work and vacations, they've been surprisingly good for all the check boxes of battery life, sound quality, and comfort!

Way better than the original. I wore my original for over a year but never really loved the feeling of them, especially for working out. There were also times where I couldn't even take the originals out of the case because they were so deep on the case and you had to pinch them to pull them out. Pretty much these new pros 2 improve upon everything. Happy to have purchased them.

I say this as someone with tens of thousands in audio equipment, as someone who can hear the compression warble in the hihats and the cymbals - audio quality with earbuds doesn't actually matter. It's like the argument for audio quality in cars - you're listening in a hostile environment, and convenience wins over fidelity. [...] The "find my" feature basically justifies the pro-prices, to me, because my biggest complaint about bluetooth earbuds in my own use case was how easily they're lost. I've lost and recovered my Pixel Buds Pro 2 a couple of times now. When traveling a lot by train and plane, the convenience of pocket-sized noise-cancelling earbuds has become worth it for me. [...] Then they'd switch to wired headphones and their Macbook microphone. They sounded better, they could hear better, and there was no battery power sword of Damocles anymore.

i love pixel buds but the one thing i absolutely hate about them is that they dont really stay in my ear. i dont know if this is a proplem with my ear/jaw geometry but they just slide out. i will twist them in as hard as i can and use the twist to lock feature and it dosent really work. dont know if its a me problem just wanted to share.

So a while back I got the pixel buds pro 2 and one of my favorite things is how easy it is to switch between noise canceling and "transparency", and how good the transparency setting is.

I bought some Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and OMG they are really good. I liked the original pixel buds I had but the noise cancelling on these is just astonishing.

I ride my Harley and use these. I can answer phone calls while riding and the other person can still head me

I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 plus as my phone, and I still went with the Pixel Buds Pro 2 over the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Biggest factors were battery life and overall fit. The Galaxy Buds have horrible battery life, I'd be at 15% after a 4 hour session. (However the battery in the charging case was better, I had another 4 charges left after similar sessions) That and there was no water resistance in the charging case, despite the Galaxy Buds themselves having superior water resistance over the Pixel Buds Pro 2. (IP57 vs IP54) This was a problem as I'd use my buds at the gym and I'm very sweaty afterwards, which the Galaxy Buds would acknowledge and not charge the buds at all. (Even after wiping them down with a microfiber cloth) Thankfully the Pixel Buds Pro 2's charging case does have IPX4 resistance, which above issue has not happened. [...]

My two year old Pixel Watch broke so I bought a Pixel Watch 3 and figured I'd get the Pixel Buds Pro 2 as a gift to myself. Loving it

I love these EXCEPT I'm on my 3rd pair under warranty. The active pressure relief mic that is on the inside of the buds, always fails after a few months to 8 months. It's terrible and no amount of cleaning fixes it.

these pixel buds pro 2 are the first headphones I've had smart enough to go transparency automatic with one bud in and noise cancel with two this, this is the feature that's made wireless worth it for me, finally

I just got these and man I use them on Android, iOS, Steam Deck, and Windows and had no idea there was a web app that works on PC. You are the 1st reviewer I have seen that even mentioned this. I'm loving this, thank you!

I have gotten used to them and like them. Have to use Comply foam tips though otherwise they fall out my ears. But that is also the case with other brands of similar design.

[...] I have the pixel 9A so no spatial audio support but to be honest i never noticed anything substantial while using iphones and airpods pro 2. I also have the google tv-streamer and i use pixel buds pro 2 if i watch movies in the evening. The Sound quality is nice, also it says it supports something called 3D audio in netflix etc and its nice, not the best but nice and works just fine.

I have the pixel buds pro 2 and the Samsung buds 3 pro, and the difference in battery life is striking. Pixel buds get the advertised 8 hours. Samsung is much closer to 4 hours than 6.

I've also had these since launch. They are so comfortable and the transparency mode are way better then last years. With foam tips the noise cancelling go from good to great.

tangentially related: I've been mixing published tracks using pixel buds pro 2 with heavy bass preset EQ, & I recorded vocals on my laptop's built in mic array. lol.

I've really come around on the Pixel Buds Pro 2. After a software update they sound a lot better, and they're super lightweight and comfy, especially compared to the first ones. The ANC is the best of anything I've used, and I forget I'm wearing them because the transparency mode is perfect.

After upgrading my watch I learned that they came out with the pixel buds pro 2?? [...]

Connected my Pixel Buds Pro 2 to a MacBook one time and they just... [...] Pairing with other devices kept failing, and only the right earbud would work when reconnecting them to my phone. Reset fixed the issue, but it was strange after years of use with virtually no problems like this.
