Pixel 10

I've been running GrapheneOS for 7 months now and I'm not going back. When I bought my Pixel 10 last year, I wasn't actually planning on trying Graphene for a while....until I noticed Google had force bundled a 'Wicked For Good' movie promo theme with the latest security update.

The Librem 5 would be eliminated by the additional requirements of: "I want a CPU that isn't crap while being expensive" "I don't want to pay full flagship prices for sub flagship performance" Adding my own experience: the battery life is also atrocious[0] and simply running a software update on a completely stock librem 5[1] managed to send it into an infinite boot loop that I was only able to recover from by flashing the factory image. [0] Sitting on a shelf, with the screen off, not connected to cellular networks, not being used at all except to check the battery % periodically throughout the day: I got 11 hours of battery life. My pixel 10 has been operating under the same conditions for 4 days and is still at 71% battery life (I'm intentionally draining it down to 50% for long term storage while I wait for the bootloader to unlock in 2 years). [...] No software had been installed, no accounts had been set up, it had never actually been used as a phone. [...]

Continued Pros of Summer 2026: I returned to Letterboxd back on March 14, 2026 after closing down my old one back in December 2025. For my birthday this year, I got a new Google Pixel 10 phone to replace my old Samsung Galaxy J7 phone that was an extremely underpowered and old phone.

I've been using GrapheneOS on my Pixel 10 since January. It's amazing how much smoother everything is without all of Google's nonsense, and I like having the confidence knowing that I'm not being tracked when I tell something not to. I don't think I can ever go back to a "stock" android experience.

I got a Pixel 10, installed GrapheneOS. [...]

It freezes a Pixel 10 on Chrome, Webviews and Brave..! I tried several webview-based browsers, Chrome, and Brave, with them the phone completely freezes (except that the audio keeps going for a bit). I tested webview browsers because by chance the first place I ran it on was Telegram's internal browser (on which the phone does freeze). [...] If someone wants to try, keep in mind that to force restart a Pixel you have to press the power button for 30 seconds (during which you might break out in a cold sweat).

The Pixel 10 and 11 GPUs are offensively bad. Not only are the Power VR GPUs slow, and less capable feature wise than Mali and Adreno (Xclipse is still around too!), but the tile Google put in the Pixel 11 is actually an older design than what they put in the Pixel 10. They just clocked it higher to make up the performance difference. And then Google has the gall to charge basically flagship prices for their under powered junk. Pixel 10 was so bad I had to trade it in after using for a month. [...] The light phones are a really cool concept but the Light Phone 3 is quite expensive (more expensive than a new Pixel 10) and the Mudita Kompakt seems to have a huge amount of grievances from users on their forum, so that put me off.

Skip Samsung, they tend to not honor warranties and are ROM swap resistant. Google is okay for now (I recently got a Pixel 10, its fine, it can run Graphene). Next year Motorola flagships will also have official Graphene support.

On mobile, or at least on mine (pixel 10) using chrome, the graphs are unreadable and unusable, which is a shame as I'm quite interested in them and I don't have access to a pc at the moment. Would you be able to change that? They steal the scroll/drag touch and turn into a nightmare if zooming / unzooming, and are squashed and unreadable when they first render.

Only silver lining to this is they run a lot of discounts and promotions on them, and it's possible to buy them at a significant discount. Got my first Pixel 10 on a very cheap contract with trade-in promos on top, and got a second Pixel 10 at a 70% discount from the RRP.

Mine's been mostly fine. Second hand Pixel 10 (previous 2nd hand 8a) and I am extremely happy with an excellent phone. No problems like you've had.

I don't get it either. i have a pixel 10 and it looks exactly like desktop mode, when connected to a docking station...

Well, I don't know what it looks like in Apple Wallet, because I use Google Wallet, but for the same reason I'm struggling to imagine the problem because there the cards are pretty large – maybe ⅔ real card size on my Pixel 10 – and in a carousel at the top. So you can see clearly which one the active one is, and just swipe between them if it's not the one you want. Easier than my physical wallet tbh, where they're behind each other, which I say begrudgingly because I've long held out, only starting to use the app a couple of weeks ago.

On my Pixel 10 using Chrome, it says "Mic needed - refresh to allow" but refreshing doesn't change anything. It's possible that I did something years ago to prevent whatever permission popup might normally be offered?

Finally upgraded from iPhone 11 pro to pixel 10 . Ordered one for 549 euros new..😁 excited, last pixel i used was pixel 6 .

Successfully flashed my Pixel 10 to @grapheneos.org That was probably the easiest flash of my life after not doing it in a very long time. And now my phone has 100gb of free space AND Google can go kick rocks. 🤪

I got a new mobile phone Saturday, an open-box Google Pixel 10 for $400. I never buy the latest model (the 11 is now for sale) as I don't want to pay the premium price. Better to get last year's model, esp if it's a customer return, floor demo model or such to save money.

My main phone is the 9xl pro and my second phone for the gym music and videos is the 10xl pro. Both phones are beautiful and having two logged into my google account works very well with numbers and email, photos, google home etc. when the 11 comes out I plan to swap the 9 for that.

Finally upgraded from my Pixel 7 to the Pixel 10 this week. My Pixel 7 still works, but the battery has been worsening increasingly to the point that it needs nearly two full battery cycles to get through the day

I am using a Pixel 3a as a Music Player. These devices are a gem

I decided against buying a flagship this year and bought the 10 for around 530 pounds in Sweden (6500sek) the day before new years eve. Very happy, this was my attitude.

I'm excited ☺️ and Def been enjoying the steady updates and more features they add that keep it refreshed and more and I only got the standard 10 I may wanna get the XL next time

I know Google didn't go hard on this 10 the way they should've, it's still a very nice phone that'll make a great companion for at least 5 years before it ever slows down. I switched off my 13 Mini this year to go to a Pixel 10 for the better Pebble support. I still miss it, it really was the last perfectly-sized phone.
