Oura Ring 4

After a year of usage i am sure that this was the most unless waste of money. This fi g gives you nothing

Bought Oura Ring 4, died within 6 months. There are many like me with the same problem. Draw your own conclusions.

I bought my OURA Gen 3 in 2023. [...] Interestingly, about 2 days after I cancelled my subscription, the battery life dropped from 3 days to about 26 hours. [...] Customer service said I had a battery problem and they could send me a new ring with a $100 discount. [...] I do wonder what the typical battery life is for Gen 3 and Gen 4 rings. [...]

[...] I mind that after a dew years the battery degenerates, the ring becomes unuasable abd you need to buy a NEW RING!! And pay the full price. Should be that the battery cam get exchanged or you get a discount. [...]

I upgraded because the gen 3 battery was running low within 2 days, after just over 2 years

I switched to Oura because of the WHOOP idiotic customer support. [...]

I was gifted an Oura 4 last year and thought it accurately tracked my sleep. But a couple months ago, the sleep debt metric went flat to 0 even when I tagged poor nights of sleep (mainly due to child care).

So, for about ten months I've been using the Oura Ring 4 for fitness/health/sleep tracking and really liking it, but it started to develop battery issues. I've come to discover that this has been a known issue with the 4, which is not good. 1/2

I got the gen 3 late last year. Been contemplating upgrading to the 4 since I’m really enjoying it but concerned about the reported issues with it coming apart. 😮

This ring is a lot more comfortable than my Samsung 7 Smart Watch, I have a small wrist and the 40mm dial covers my entire wrist, it also gets uncomfortable when it’s sweaty where it touches the skin. [...]

My health is worth the $6 month however I do feel the company could make it $3 month after all I’m assuming they invented this for the health of people bcz they actually care as a whole abt people.

Garmin watches have the best battery life. 15 day battery on my watch and there’s some that go longer. Or the solar ones, that go forever lol

I got a free lifetime membership when I went from generation one to two. I think they offered it to early adopters

I have owned every generation and Gen 4 is 1000% better - battery,, comfort and sensitivity,

was so excited to get gen 3 on sale for £200 then the sizing kit came and i realised i have ogre hands. so glad gen 4 has larger sizes as i was able to cancel my order and order the 4.

Got UltraHuman first, then faced insane incorrect data from it, the support didn’t care, changed to Oura 4 and never looked back. Despite monthly subscription, I feel like Oura is a finished product with useful features unlike UltraHuman. Don’t get me wrong, the UltraHuman ring has a good potential, but it’s not ready to be released to the public with so many bugs and build issues.

My Garmin ultimately always wins for me as no subscription. Rather pay one off fee to buy an item that belongs to me.

My oura ring 4 just stopped working/connecting to my phone, any one else have this problem?

Sadly I didn’t find my ring that helpful.. maybe it was just me though.. I returned it last week.

The oura ring 4 also needs to be synced on the charger before reusing it which is pretty inconvenient. If it had an auto sync feature, then it would be worth it to me but this is how technology evolves, by us giving feedback so they can update or make it better.

I have an Oura Ring and love it (except for the subscription). However, the design is so blah... I wish they will make it more attractive in the future.

Ok, I got my Oura Ring 4, in the shiny silver bc it was $50 less, and I have begun my tracking ring journey. I look forward to wearing regular watches again, but three of them have dead batteries! Grr

You actually can track the gen 4. I have used the feature before lol
