I cannot believe that it’s been a year since I had my switch 2.

Have a NS1 since 2017 and I’ve never played undocked (as a tablet). I wish there were a cheaper docked only version of NS2. I like Nintendo games more than device portability (have my phone for that)

I have a Switch 2, Nintendo user since I was very young, with the 8 bits NES, SNES, Game Boy, Nintendo 64... I would not change my Switch 2 for any PS5 or XBox, even if they are interesting :) It is indeed a hybrid, but a very well-thought one I'd say.

As I’ve pointed out in my other comments, the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 are perfect devices to dispel this whole “no fan is better” narrative. [...] I can buy a handheld from Nintendo for $450 that can play new AAA games with great performance while the Neo struggles with 5 year old titles like Cyberpunk despite likely having better overall hardware. A MacBook Neo with a fan would get 15-30% better overall performance and +50% framerate in games as has been demonstrated by multiple tinkerers on YouTube.

Except I can buy two or three Switches with Neo's price tag. Nintendo Switch - 279 euro Nintendo Switch 2 - 489 euro Neo with a proper SSD size - 800 euro.

My Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller didn't work with my Mac, so I had Claude write me a driver. Amazing times we live in. (As long as I still have a job so I can buy controllers in ten years.)

I have a C4 OLED and I thought what you said was also true for me until I figured out what settings I needed to change on my TV to match my console (Nintendo Switch 2). Had to turn on HGiG, manually adjust the peak brightness level on the console itself, and suddenly things looked great. [...]

I am not a Nintendo fan (I do have a Switch 1) but this article is the first time I learned Nintendo added HDR graphics the the Switch 2 and this thread is the first time I learned HDR was actually being marketed. I genuinely doubt most Nintendo customers know about these features. It isn’t like Nintendo takes pride in technically impressive graphics anyway.

I have the regular switch 1 rn and it is in good condition, should I upgrade to a switch 2 or wait for potential future versions of the switch 2? I like playing nintendo original titles wich also makes me tempted to do the upgrade 🐢

I just bought Lego Batman thinking it would look and run at an average level but man was I wrong. It looks very good and the 30 fps feels smooth. Certain ports are done very well for the switch 2

I have a monster of a pc, because of that I play any games available on steam there. I only find the switch 2 great for pokemon games which I enjoy.

Just got one yesterday with Mario Kart Worlds and Super Mario Wonder Little did I know I could subscribe to nintendo online + expansion pack for a whole year for super cheap! It's like having a modern console and retro device in one!

Absolutely worth it! The Switch 2 is such a wonderful console; it offers the freedom to play wherever and whenever you want. It’s the best console I’ve ever had, and a significant upgrade from the previous model.

I definitely got my money's worth out of the system, especially when Sonic Crossworlds released. Already had roughly 770 hours into on PS5, dumped another 500 on Switch 2. And thats just one game, not counting the 100 or so hours I put into DK Bananza and most recently Star Fox

I play it docked mostly when I get a chance usually multiplayer Mario kart world with my daughter. I am sharing with my tween. It’s brought us closer as a family. I just wish I had the time to play it more.

Thankfully I waited, got a deal at 300$ in box used. Kids are loving pokopia😂

Got mine week before they announced price increase. It’s way more responsive than Switch 1. Can’t fault it in any way.

I bought it on launch as well and for me personally it was worth it, because I played A lot of switch 1 games I´ve missed out on (Botw, totk, mario Rpg, Paper mario remake, pokemon sheild) And some new ones like mario kart world and DK bananza (bought metroid prime 4 and hyrule warriors as well but didnt play them as of now) If you have a lot of switch 1 games that you didnt play back in the day the upgrade I think is worth it, but if you only have the new ones to look out for, I would maybe still hold out because the switch 2 exclusive games are fun but they dont target a big audience (Except DK bananza and mario kart)

I finally made the move and got one last month makes gaming everywhere a reality for me. I also travel alot and this is a must to have. Now just learned MW4 is coming!!!

The dock def causes scratches on the screen, i got a scren protector the moment i saw it forming

Switch 2 has become my preferred way to play games (even 3rd parties) because I value the ability to play docked and then seamlessly switch (pun intended) to playing handheld. I also have a PC handheld and while that can be used docked and handheld, the transition between them is not as seamless as it is on the Switch 2. At the age of 43 the Switch 2 just fits more neatly into my life than my PS5 Pro which I have only used to play Ghost of Yotei in the last year.

Just got mine two days ago, I love it, playing some Pokémon, Zelda and metroid at the moment on my switch 2

I just got a Switch 2 a week ago. I haven't played any Nintendo Switch game since it launched (except for the 3rd games that are on Steam too). I'm really excited to play the 1st party games on the Switch 2, starting from the Pokemon games.

I didn't have the switch 1 but I got the switch 2 and I love it. [...] Screen not too big or small. [...] The switch 2 is a console which means switch on and play and that's it, no messing Arkham jd with Bluetooth and what have u.

It was already good. They just keep making it better. It will be my main system in the coming years with other console prices going through the roof.
