Think I've settled on going for the new MSI Claw when I sell my Deck OLED and current Claw, if only because while I would love an OLED screen apparently the OneXPlayer is heavy as shit. All reports say the Claw is very comfy and it has MicroSD Express support (!) which is a huge plus.

I've used it on a MSI Claw and it's on my gaming PC, the only game I can't get to run properly is Star Wars Outlaws but I've installed 40 other games and they all work fine.

my friend is so funny, she had an extra brand new MSI Claw Ultra 7 just laying around and gave it me. But I didn't know what is was? So naturally I'm confused and she just said "PC handheld I see your blusky posts!" Guess I got one of these things now XD
Handheld Companion saved this MSI Claw 8AI TURBO CHALLENGER handheld from "good piece of hardware, but destined for refund because the OEM software is unusable". starting to overtake my steamdeck. just need bazzite support and we're on for making it my daily driver and plastering it with stickers
[...] I recently bought an MSI Claw A1M handheld gaming PC, because it was cheap. And the performance of the Core Ultra 5-135H is fine, and I think it can handle E33 at 1080p30 with upscaling, and anything else I'd want to play much better than that. But the battery life and power consumption isn't competitive with even the original Steam Deck, and we haven't seen an indication that Intel has anything to leapfrog AMD chips any time soon.

Apparently Microsoft thinks the MSI Claw 7+ Intel-based handheld (which I bought used in Japan, Intel is also on the boycott list) is the new Xbox Ally X, as it's alerting me to "new drivers" with an image of said handhelds for some reason? Tight ship they got running over there, it seems.
Can you to into more detail on your Steam Deck setup? I have a MSI Claw running Bazzite and I would love to look at some different options, especially Alpine.
"Gotta get off my phone" (Picks up MSI Claw and goes to desktop mode to get their scrolling fix) I try to be nice because some of these people are literally cigarettes-level addicts but man...
If you're clocking, yes, this means I will have to be playing this on my MSI Claw during GDC. The game doesn't support Linux and I stripped Windows from my laptop 9 months ago.
