Moto G9

I bought Moto G8 Plus this year on Feb 29. The phone came up with Android 9 Pie out of the box and surprisingly I got an Android 10 update on 20th Oct 2020. It was a special day because it was my 36th birthday and very early morning I got received the update. I am looking to purchase Moto G9 Plus if it's available in India. [...]

I have the SAMSUNG 49" Odyssey Neo G9 G95NA - but despite spending literally dozens of hours - I was never able to get text to work clearly on it - either Mac or PC - tried both the DisplayPort, HDMI - tried all the (many) HDMI cables I had at home, and a couple expensive Monoprice cables, firmware updates, monitor resets, every setting I could figure - no luck. Text is just ... fuzzy in a way that it isn't with any other monitor I've ever owned - kind of a deal breaker when I spend all day in tmux.

For gaming, RetroPie is a cool solution (it doesn't require raspberrypi). I have a setup using HP Pro Mini 400 G9 that boots directly into EmulationStation. It's perfect for playing with my kid, covering everything from NES to more recent consoles, and also Steam and Minecraft (via if needed. The offline aspect of non-steam games is a big plus for easier parental management too.

I have a Samsung neo g9 57" which is like 1/2 an 8k monitor (or 2 4k monitors side-by-side) which is sweet since I use picture-by-picture mode to have my work computer on one side and my personal computer on the other side.

Since my Moto Z Play, MOTO G9+ it is the best phone I´ve got, great performance by far!

I bought this mobile Moto G9 Plus couple of months ago and i HATE it because this mobile no got Screen recording, Wireless display, Compass and no Magnetometer. Moto G9 plus is sucks..

I just recently picked up a 49" Samsung G9 OLED and also had a similar experience. It felt like the picture was moving and I couldn't focus correctly. I first chalked it up to the low PPI, but after some googling, it was text fringing.

I have some LED bulbs at home but I use G9 halogens in either an E14 or an E27 adapter for the places where light quality is important to me. I tried a number of so-called "full spectrum" LED bulbs but I don't find the light they produce quite as satisfying as my halogens.
