Wow I guess I've played VRChat way more than I realized this year since I bought a Meta Quest 3S this past spring 😵‍💫⁉️

I bought this for my daughter last Christmas. I think it's been used 3 times lol

I already bought a quest 3 back when it first came out. It was my first headset though i mostly use it too play modded skyrim vr

ive had a quest 2 headset since 2021 and need an upgrade but ive heard bad things about mainly the quest 3 about like how the charging port can melt or smth like that, any suggestions?

A meta quest 3s in inself is an insane experience for 330€ and it's current main disadvantages for gaming are the lack of players and the catalogue size. Even using it as a main monitor with a bluetooth keyboard is "possible". [...] Besides, VR is already cheap. A new Quest 3S is just $300 and can do pretty much all of what the $3500 Vision Pro can do (just worse); if you just want VR games you can get used 6DOF-capable PCVR or PSVR headsets on eBay for closer to $100.

I really wish this wasn't yet another platform war. There are already countless Quest devices, apps and games out there. Also, it will be very hard for Apple to beat the Quest 3S price point, we just got 4 headsets so we can all play together.

i now have a meta quest 3s that i bought used so i gave meta exactly $0 today and my local used game store $200

I got a meta quest 3s mostly out of curiosity but the truth is, if all I do is watch urbex videos on a giant virtual screen, it was worth the $200 (twas refurbished, on sale, with an additional discount). If you can’t do it anymore, might as well live vicariously virtually!

"2 to 2.5 hrs battery life" -- When I bought a Quest 3, the battery lasted 45 f'ing minutes. I returned it.

So I got a vr headset a bit ago for VRChat, and now I want to hear some recommendations for games for it. It’s a meta quest 3s, and I’m okay with almost anything, as long as it’s not super “racey” or heavy gore. And tentative on horror.

0:46 I think the meta quest’s are tacky peace’s of junk, I have one… I’ve not tried any other VR’s but this one just feel cheap buggy and shit. Defo wouldn’t recommend this VR, try another brand coz meta’s are cheaply built

the new button is very useful to me since its right behind the vol button which can make it fast to press other than using your fingers from your controllers having to put them down or stretch your finger around your controller to tap the headset twice and can also lead to your headset shifting to the left from impact and its not very quick while the button only uses one finger and easy to use with a controller

Just got a 3s never had any vr headset, or even experience, all ive ever experienced is the old samsung vr thing (basicaly googlr cardboard) and holy sh, its crazy cool, no sde, super immersive, im happy with it

tbh its my first vr i had one on my head for like 30 mins of my life and i liked it

got a 3s for 2025 chrismas and im upgrading the strap and contollers for my birthday woohoo

I bought the 3s on my brothers recommendation, he has the 2. I love it!Plus, we live a couple thousand miles apart and can hang out playing Golf+ and Walkabout Mini Golf on the weekend . I did buy the more comfy upgraded battery strap, case and a very comfy and breathable face plate off of Amazon.

Got the 3s for my son. It’s perfect for our use case. Didn’t want to get the more expensive set and then it just winds up collecting dust in 6 months.

A little late to the game, but I decided to purchase myself a Christmas gift this year and buy the quest three after utilizing the quest two a couple years ago. Best Buy had a great deal to wear if you buy the quest three you get $100 gift card, so I only had to pay $12 for my backstrap/battery!

I bought a cheap Meta quest 3S headset at a pawn shop and while I was setting it up, it said hey we have hand tracking. I told myself I know what I must do.

I have it and I pretty much think it's good‚ just the batteries not working when I got it so I got new ones.

I use mine mainly for reading Manga and using steam with it from time to time. Also replace the strap with a better one for support.

I just returned my quest3s today. First time VR user I loved the features but the visuals makes it feel like I'm using old techonolgy.

Im an Graffiti Artist, I just bought it after I saw that you can place digital designs or sketches on walls and trace the outlines directly on to it, so this takes away my needs of an heavy projector which needs electricity or a grid to upsize my art from a sketch to an entire wall. Heard that the adult side of the internet is pretty interesting too on this device 😜

I love this headset, I’ve gotten a few accessories that have made using it a breeze, can definitely recommend if you like vr gaming

the way I use my quest 3 headset most often is lying on my back looking up and so I never get the neck strain, also I use it a lot to watch movies in bigscreen app or in 4xvr player, a 32 gb copy of a movie like titanic looks spectacular even in the current quest 3 hardware imo games are fun but they're geniunely intense, like the Light Brigade where you are fighting monsters with ww2 guns and all kinds of magic, it feels so much more tiring and intense than playing outside of vr

For me the quest 3s wouldn't be big enough upgrade because of the same lenses and storage, because my quest 2 is already 256 gig and with all the attachments on it it's super comfortable to wear. I have q2 thinking to buy q3. q3s a little bit more sihny than q2 lenses and resolution is the same but not gpu only. So q3 has pancake lenses and great resolution . [...]

I upgraded from a quest 2 to a 3s ive barely noticed a difference. Except for when i tried laggy gamee and the performance is much better, also i like the controllers.

I recently got a 3s for Christmas and it’s awesome! If you get one you won’t be disappointed. It’s nitpicking with the 3 imo
