I bought the 16" M4 Max with 128GB of RAM and it's amazing. I can run all the things
i have the 16 inch mbp m4 max and loveee it!!! i had a 14 inch and dont miss it tbh

Okay, that's why my M4 MacBook Pro drains hella fast; 6 hours of screen-on time. I do use full brightness all the time lol
Man I've got mine this year the M4 Pro Macbook Pro (Base model) and I do EVERYTHING there! Work, content creation, development, test, etc. And it's a real deal for me, so if you are thinking buying this model, GO for it! 🎊
I also went for a 14" because they're just so much more portable. I have a feeling as I get into my mid- to late 40s when it comes time for my next upgrade the 16" might be more of a necessity, but the 14" with some font scaling in certain apps has worked really well. I have a 27" 1440p display for my personal desktop as well and still use scaling in some apps there.
Just got the same-specs machine 10 days ago (with nano-texture glass)! I will be doing both web and mobile development!
I also bought the M4 pro 14' few weeks ago So far so good it's amazing
I personally like Macbook Air for how thin and awesome it is, I have a Pro but I do not enjoy it as a laptop. As a desktop device it is so nice.
I love videos like this and I love seeing other developers working remotely only with a laptop in coffee shops or outside when the sun is shining... but... I could not do that at all. I have a 3 Monitor setup (2x 24", 1x 27") at home and every time I switch to my Macbook Pro 16" I miss my setup so hard. It just does not feel right because I feel cramped somehow. I wish it wasn't like that because I love the possibility to work from everywhere as a developer.
