My current mechanical work keyboard I have had for years, it's the one i had in the office actually, is nothing special. It's a Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless. It is however lovely to type on.
Logitechs mechanical keyboards are pretty good. I love the MX mechanical line, I have a mini simply because I don't need a numpad but the full size is also great

Most boring possible suggestion, but I got the Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard and it does everything I want. Wireless with the option of connecting to 3 different computers (more useful when I had a job but still good for Mac + Windows + occasional Steam Deck).

i literally went with a Logitech MX Mechanical and Triathlon so i could do this my one gripe with the keyboard is for some reason it doesn't have a PrtScn button, it has a "show desktop" button, which is asinine i can use their app to rebind it but it sometimes forgets what it's supposed to do
Logitech MX Mechanical for Mac they do a numeric model as well. [...] Amazon (link: amzn.to/44lf8Oz) is £149 at the moment - I got mine refurb on eBay for £80isb - but Prime day is coming in a week or so and usually Logitech do big discounts...
That should be possible without anything. Just use the key to reduce the backlight brightness (Fn+F4 on my MX Mechanical Mini).
