Logitech G305

The left-click switch on my Logitech G305 started glitching-out after a couple years, particularly noticeable when trying to drag something, the drag would drop randomly in the middle. I've used the logitech g305 for at least 6 years now, and thankfully that one lets you write a profile to the chip on the mouse.

I've had access to "better" gaming mice, but you'd have to pry the Logitech G305 from my budget-loving hands. It's true. It hasn't left my desk for over 5 years, and I don't plan to change that (1/2) 💰

My computer mouse is starting to double-click, so I guess it's time to start looking at replacements.. Been using the Logitech G305 for years now, so might just get another one of those unless I find one better for a good deal. [...]

does anyone have wireless mouse recommendations... once i can afford to i want to replace my logitech G305. I've bought 2 of them since i got my pc back in 2021 and they always start glitching out after a few years

The logitech g305 is good! Budget option that requires a single AA battery to function, I've been using one for years and haven't had any issues with latency or dropouts so I'd highly recommend it

I have bad experiences with EVERY gaming mouse brand. logitech g305 is the only wireless mouse that i've had that: 1) has an insane battery that hasn't died in 5m 2) has not had weird wax-like substance that degrades overtime with hand oil 3) scroll wheel hasnt broken Love this mouse and it's $35

I'm too old to remember the mappings for 20 button mice, but I've found the lowly Logitech G305 useful because it has a hardware button to toggle between DPI settings. That makes it useful without using any other key to change the speed of the mouse. Other than that, it has four buttons, and the scroll wheel clicks and goes left and right.

I've been using a Logitech G305 for many years and it's been great so far. A bit on the smaller side but I have small hands anyway, use it both for work and gaming. Battery lasts months and it's usually quite cheap.

logitech g305 is easily the best mouse i've used in my life and it works perfectly on linux. battery life is MONTHS

Not sure what you're after really but I have a Logitech G305 as my daily driver for both work and gaming and it's great. Long battery life and no need for any extra software.

I've used and liked the logitech g305, but the left mouse button broke ages ago and it double clicks (or, recently, doesn't register clicks) sometimes unless you blow into the end of the mouse.
