LG Velvet

LG velvet 5G even though without any 90 hz or 120 hz refresh rate or any LTPO adaptive screen, i still love what its capable of especially audio bokeh on its video recording feature and i thought it still awesome. I have bought Korean's secondhand set from Ali Express and already use it for about more than 1 year now and it still works and functioning well like a charm with Android 13 updates. No complain.

LG really outshone itself in terms of innovative technology with the dual-screen integrated LG Velvet. I never thought that we would have such futuristic devices on our hands in such an accessible manner. I personally love the camera design as well - the rain drop pattern is not only unique but adds a different style aspect to the phone as well.

Just got the velvet with the dual screen and I must say, it's absolutely gorgeous. I only have one worry, that's the dual screen's hinges. Have you had any wear on the hinges through the months? [...] Should I get a spare dual screen if I am able to find one at a decent price? [...]

The dual-screen feature by LG has probably gained more headlines that anything it ever delivered and now that LG Velvet is in the market, I think the other brands might revise their strategies a bit. Powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, I think this smartphone will surely be a great seller in India and hoping that LG would use the competitive pricing strategies as they did in the past.

For me, the reason why I would want to buy the V60 is because of its camera performance. That's not to say the Velvet's camera is bad, it's just not on par with the V60. The reason why I would want to get the Velvet is because it's way cheaper than the V60 with DualScreen case and its design. Not gonna lie, the Velvet is a seriously good looking phone.

Watching from my LG Velvet. [...] Compared to all budget/Chinese phones in this price range, its hard to find better value. I use my Velvet as a secondary device for media consumption and the screen is beautiful for it. Just dont expect the Velvet to compete with flagships. Edit: i got Android 13 update a few months ago now.

Have you thought about a comparison between the Velvet and the V60? [...]

I bought one in the colour Ilusion Sunset at January 2021 and now at January 2024 i changed for a S24 Ultra due to instagram bugs in the LG Velvet, 3 years with this amazing phone, i will miss it In my opinion, the most good looking phone ever, of all times. At least the phone will still in my family, since i gave it to my grandmother as a gift. I was comparing the display of the S24 Ultra with the display of the LG velvet, and belive or not the Lg Velvet looks way more better, with more vivid colors.

I was going to go from my V35 to the V60, but I think you just convinced me to go with the Velvet instead. honestly aside from the whole DAC removal, the only thing I really have as gripes with this phone is how curved it's display is and there's no more unlocked LG's

I believe Open Source software sold developers the dream of "to be hired for what they have developed" and cash-in the effort they have spent as a future, stable employment. I purchased the Velvet 5G earlier this year at a price of $150, and I'm thoroughly enjoying its features.

I got my lg velvet second hand last month and I'm happy to say that it's the best , I didn't get the double screen but I use my 43 inch android TV as a second screen and it works great, I'm able to beam all the phone's app on the TV full screen. 👍

Without a hint of joking, the galaxy S25 is a fucking downgrade from my old ass LG Velvet Samsung what the fuck are you doing? The velvet was obsolete the year after I got it like....five or six years ago.

I love the way u go hard for lg cause people really be trying to do them in and I've owned a few of them last one being the v30 and before that was a g4 and although I had the loop issue I wasn't giving up so I found a way around it and never had another issue besides that I'm waiting on my velvet now coming from iPhone 11 and I cant wait to get it

A wild animal documentary that I saw mentioned that stags would eat their own bloodied velvet hangings that were scratched off on branches ("velvet" is the living covering of the antlers at the beginning of the growing season). There are other warts though: - They're paying out the lowest to artists by far when it comes to streams - Artist impersonation issues - Botted playlists - Daniel Ek investing his fortune into AI drone military defense company Helsing - The nascent issue of AI music / artists (see The Velvet Sundown) For me it is moreso that all of this adds up to artists getting the squeeze, and I'd rather try to find ways to better support them.

I have the LG Velvet in October 2023, I love my Velvet, I'm finding the battery seems to drain faster now and I find that it's slow. I'm sad that LG stopped making phones!
