i've been using my vortex pok3r keyboard for like 9+ years and i really like it, but in recent times i've wanting something more than a 60% keyboard so i got a keychron k2 max which is 75%. let's see how this goes.

I got a Keychron K2 (extra clicky) in Nov. 2020 and I still love it. The only issue I've ever had is other people complaining about how loud it was if I was typing during a Zoom meeting.

I’m using a Keychron K2 HE these days. It has Hall effect switches, so there is absolutely no clicky noise at all.

if you want to have a mechanical keyboard that requires basically no tuning to be enjoyable and have it be more thocky and less clicky i would recommend the keychron k2 i got the wireless pro version for like $110, i think this one is basically perfect
I was fine with typing on the chiclet keyboard that came with my iMac. But once I got a Keychron K2 mechanical keyboard... there's no going back.
10/ The keyboard is the new Keychron K2 HE, and so far it's very pleasant to use. The palm rest was supposed to be the wooden one, but I got the wood / resin one sent by mistake; I actually like this one more. Finally I have a Remarkable2 for notes, and then space to the side for glasses / mugs.
My daily driver at work is a Keychron K2, and it's great (but a mechanical keyboard so maybe more expensive than some people are comfortable with for a peripheral)
If anyone's looking for a new mechanical keyboard I can recommend 'The Keyboard Company'. They were really helpful before I bought my Keychron K2 Pro: verified the key and backlight colours, double-checked I wanted a US layout, etc. Delivery was quick, too.
Mine hates the P button. [...] I dropped my keychron k2 and it stopped working via usb, but charging still works. If I were able to fix it maybe (maybe) I'd switch back to it, in the end I prefer having a reliable keyboard.

[...] But imo folks should learn speedtyping techniques for qwerty to avoid RSI and skip the rabbit hole of alternate layouts and keyboards.
