I’ve been using the Air since it launched, before that I was using my iPhone XS Max. iPhone Air … after using one since just after launch, I love the ergonomics. All the remaining cuts Apple engineered plus the software has relegated this device to an iPod that can also make calls. I am surprised that Apple didn’t just drop it like Sammy did to the Edge.
i enjoyed my air for the just under a year that i had it for but more than thrilled to be back to the pro max the battery, the speakers, the camera all make the pro max worth it imo

The iPhone Air is my favorite phone I've ever had, and if they only made them, I'd be ok with it. (Sample size: 1, but still people)

Got the air as my very first ever iphone after a life time on android. Its glorious.
It’s my second phone which I use on my e-bike. Love it as it’s light and because it’s on my Bosch mount it’s charging so battery life is not a problem.
I love my air. I could never switch to anything heavier after owning this!
My Air battery health is at 95% and 278 cycles. [...] Battery life is okay considering how thin it is. Stereo speakers would be the next great thing to add and i don’t really miss not having ultrawide / telephoto.
Switched from IPhone 15 Pro Max to IPhone Air. Pretty Surprised how good the Battery in the IPhone Air is. I don’t miss my 15 Pro Max.
[...] I bought an external MagSafe battery and I’ve never used it. When I’m in my car, the iPhone Air is charging and my standard use doesn’t tax battery. The camera is fine, better than most iPhones released prior to the last 2 years. Bonus: using a MacBook Neo all day and then going back to my iPhone Air makes my phone feel very premium.
Forgot my phone at IKEA, went back to a few employees passing it back and forth going "it's so thin what the heck" The iPhone Air isn't a perfect phone but times like that make it worth it

I have an iPhone Air and the ONLY issue I've had is accidentally tapping the screen since the screen is so close to the edge of the device. Not battery life, not the speaker, not the single camera. I've only ever had issues with accidental tapping.
I have an iPhone and an Android phone and I don't see the gap at all when it comes to software. Quite the opposite, I think iOS regressed a lot with iOS 26 to the point where I see quite a lot of render stutters on an iPhone Air and 17 Pro. [...] Great SoC, great cameras, great build quality. [...]
As an iPhone Air owner here’s my honest take: Build quality, screen, and performance are all fantastic. [...] Compromises are battery, no additional camera lenses. Single speaker. [...] Battery life is fine overall but on days of heavy use/travel it’s noticeable. Single camera lens is ok but I do miss the telephoto on occasion. Single speaker gets made fun of online, but for any serious listening you’re going to use headphones anyway. Charge speed via USB is lower than the pros and you can’t do video-out over USB.
Think I'll just wait for the rumored iPhone Air 2. iPhone Air is for sure the best phone I've ever owned, the battery life doesn't bother me but the camera isn't ideal at all. Duo looks cool but I'm not sure I need a device that will encourage me to "play" on my phone more than I already shouldn't.
Same; my one concern is battery life, since the iPhone Air was not exactly stellar in that regard, but; more physical space for battery in the Duo, so I’m hopeful!
Agreed. I just downsized my android to a non pro edition pixel, and my daily driver is an iPhone Air. I’d much rather have small; although my vision is starting to object
