Is this the new dictation engine that I'm not allowed to run on my 1-YEAR-OLD IPHONE 17 because it's not Pro?
I got the 17 a year ago as well and I gotta say it's really good but yes if it had touchid it would be the perfect phone no doubt .. aaaaahhh I miss touchid so much

my first iPhone was the original SE (which was essentially iPhone 4 expanded to 16:9 screen) and I'd say it was the perfect size of a phone, the reason why I opted for a larger screen even though my hands are kinda small for a man is that website and application design has completely shifted towards those large screens and small screens are unusable (and for me this has been true since 2019 when I switched to a larger screen) it is kinda annoying, but apparently the consensus of modern design includes both lots of useless horizontal margins (lots of them just for the sake of visible rounded corners) and lots of vertical space taken by ads (iPhone 17 is actually 19.5:9, not 16:9, so ads take less vertical space on such a screen)... and after a few months of using a larger screen I learned how to use it with one hand so it is possible - I rest my phone on 4 fingers and use thumb to interact, I only use two hands when typing (well two thumbs, but whatever)... I used to think I preferred a smaller phone until I upgrade from an SE3 to an iPhone 17. It’s not even that much bigger, less than the screen size suggests because of the end-to-end screen and taller aspect ratio. And that extra screen area is extremely useful. [...]

It's basically mind blowing that 800x600 pixels have been a long time enough to get work done. Currently I'm typing this on an iPhone 17 with a larger screen and after all the years there is nothing like a good charting, dashboarding or spreadsheet on it.

I just got my 17 mist blue upgrading from the 11. I haven’t even touch the surface of what this phone can do and i love it i hold it with such delicacy lol
I love my iPhone 17. This version of iPhone was the best since for the base model you got 256 GB of storage same screen quality as a pro iPhone along with the same chipset as the pro iPhone. [...] I don't mind the smaller battery since it takes about 20 minutes to go from 0% to 50%. [...]

I’m experiencing an issue with my iPhone 17. The edges of the screen sometimes don’t register touch at all, so I have to try several times before it works. [...] The touchscreen is also very slow. I only got this phone because my father wanted to gift it to me and honestly this is the best phone i have, as i am not too much of a photo clicker i bought this because it great and and with pro model zoom ability is the only thing you will sacrifice on, that is how much good they made this years base model my friend has pro model so i just airdrop photos of which they have better zoom so, if you don't mind that extra zoom go for this that's only difference with the base model and pro or just wait iphone 18 to come out

I don't understand why mine's already down to 99% battery health in two months despite just using it for social media and the camera. Anyway, it's indeed a game changer.
Just got it last week really good just some issues like gets hot but also cools down quickly and I have to charge it 2 times a day
