Yes, there are way more options to get sub $500 Android phones, but pretending like an iPhone is too expensive for most Americans when carrier deals are often as good or better for iPhone options (to say nothing of the older phones being sold by Total Wireless and the like) and when more people in the United States use iPhone vs Android is a little bit silly. We just got $1130 from Verizon for my husband's old iPhone 14 Plus towards his new iPhone 17 Pro (I get a new phone every year so I’m just on the Apple Upgrade plan or I buy it outright each year, whereas he gets a new phone every 3 years or so), making it essentially free (we had to change the plan he was on but it cost the same as the old plan) and if he’d wanted a regular iPhone 17, he could’ve dropped down to a cheaper phone plan too. Watching on my 14+ Had it since August 2023 Great phone Decent range nothing less , nothing too crazy. Upgrading to 18 pro or pro max next year.

this is a great phone, bought it a year ago and still happy. this is a great phone for those who want a big screen but don't want to pay more for the Pro Max version, and since this is the 14th iPhone it will still be relevant for a few more years to come, and even though it only has 60Hz, in my opinion it's still a pretty good phone.

I've had this phone since launch (7 months), I plan on having it for at least 3 years (which is how long I had my XR). [...] Comparing to my old XR, this has a bigger screen, smaller notch, better battery life and better (and additional) cameras. This phone was made for someone like me, all I really care about is screen size and battery life. Bought a brand new 14plus 2 days ago and I am using it now.😅😅😅

When I tried the iPhone 14 Plus camera it would scramble any texts in the picture into gibberish from about only 1m away and even about an arms length away. But text in pictures would only be clear and crisp if I literally take it very close only. So I'm shocked how clean and legible the texts still are from your far-ish range pictures, and even when you pinch zoomed in after taking them. Nick, can you update your iPhone 14 Plus to the current ios26 to see if this happens to your pictures please? Also - Is anyone else having the same scrambled gibberish texts in pictures like me?

I went from a X to a 12 to a 14 plus. And battery life has been top notch compared to what I had prior. Very happy with it

I’ve had the 14 plus since release , it’s an overpriced average phone , came from an iPhone 11. 60hz on a large screen is noticeable I don’t know weather it’s my phone but I get occasional stutters and freezing also the difference in cameras compared with the iPhone 11 is marginal imo .. can’t wait to sell it!

just got this phone, since honestly, I need the storage and screen size, compared to camera quality, pro features, and the "dynamic island". I personally think the 14 plus is fit just for me since I don't need all fancy features, I'm just glad I got a phone upgrade form my iPhone XR

Going from an iPhone 8 to the iPhone 14 Plus made me feel like stepping into a new chapter. My iPhone 14 plus is my graduation gift from my aunt which I’m more than truly thankful of and I’ve been using my iPhone 14 plus for 2 weeks now and based on my experience, the battery life is just mind-blowing. From 100-65% of battery usage from day time until night time is more than just enough that I needed for my usage which is why I don’t have to worry charging my iPhone 14 plus at night and I will never regret that I chose the right phone for myself.

Got the 14 Plus in January. Very satisfied with the purchase. Although I may upgrade to a Pro 15 model for the upgrade in a new chipset and the promotion display.

I got rid of my 14 pro max for this and I tell you the weight of this was my decision to buy it

I owned 120hz phones but I never use the feature! [...] Obviously I would of liked to see 120hz regarding the price tag but I do value the battery life that but more, plus iOS is fast and snappy and responsive I don’t seem to bothered! Excellent camera’s obviously very similar to pro models other than less zoom and when you digital zoom there would be less detail but it’s enough for me! And the performance is overpowered and I love it!! I adore top class performance and the A15/16 is the fastest chips on Yt market though the 8gen2 chips do have better GPUs but apps on IOS are more optimised! Battery life again is fantastic and I never have to worry about the battery ever! I always charge my phone at night and before I go to bed I take it off charge to eliminate any risks or battery’s overheating !! [...]

The 14 Plus is a nice phone, however, I feel it’s overpriced for what your getting. I wouldn’t buy it.

Love mine, 12 hours Sot with mixed use including gaming and still 20% left. Very light in the hand, better then my normal 13 pro.

I upgraded from a iPhone 12 to a 14 plus and I couldn’t be happier. The larger screen and the super long battery life have been awesome.

I just got the 14 pro and i have no complaints about the battery life, im really impressed. I haven’t had any bugging but im still checking it out.

Battery drain is real with iOS 16, my iphone 12 had its battery life reduced by around 20% compared to iOS 15.

I upgraded my iPhone 6s to an iPhone 14 Plus, and sure, the battery is better, but every so often my phone goes black with a loading icon and goes back to the locked screen. I love having access to news and people’s thoughts this way but I’m so close to being over smart phones in general

As is the case with most beta updates, I’ve noticed that my phone (iPhone 14 Plus) runs a bit slower than before the update. Again, I fully expected this since it’s just something Apple does with EVERY major update. It doesn’t ruin the phone use experience but it IS noticeable
