That seems kind of odd, my iPhone 12 Pro has zero issues with things like that and it’s three years old. I did upgrade a few weeks ago because the iPhone 15 cameras are amazing and I care a lot about that but I honestly had zero performance reasons to upgrade. I’ve never had an issue with a 5-6 year old phone and I always keep my old phone as a backup specifically for banking.

Watching this on my iPhone 12 Pro w/ recent replaced battery (100% capacity) running IOS 26.5.2. I turned off 5G and only use LTE or WiFi and it’s 🔥 Got this back in 2020 or 2021, can’t quite remember but, I love this phone.

My wife is using an- iPhone 12 Pro Max 512gb Silver with 78%BH running iOS26.5 purchased in Sep 2024 (Used ZA/A) & I’m using an- iPhone 12 Pro 256gb Graphite with 86%BH running iOS26.5 purchased in Oct 2024 (Apple CPO ZD/A)

Still using the 12 pro since I got it in December 2020 and I’ve gotten one battery replacement so far but it’s been fine.

I got a broken one back in July when Apple launched AppleCare One. [...] My 11 Pro Max lags really badly and heats up too. Its so weird how the 12 was worse when it launched on the battery life, but the roles now reversed.

I had the 12 pro max for 4 years until I upgraded to the 16 pro max last year. The 12 PM design is by far my favorite. That pacific blue is so gorgeous and it’s why I didn’t get the 13PM the year after.

Been using the iPhone 12 pro max since I bought this pre order back in December 2020, my battery is at 70% health and it mostly survives the entire workday. In somedays it lives in plugged in on a slow charger but thats rare. [...] What I love on this phone is that since I got the white version, the scratches can be buffed out with a cloth and a metal polish so that it always looks brand new

I used an iPhone 12 since it came out and actually bought a new iPhone 12 around a year ago It works flawlessly like I’ve found zero limitations, it was fine in 2020 and it’s even better now with the latest iOS I even had to get a new Apple case for it from o2 (a network carrier) for just £7 and it was the last new iPhone 12 case in the whole of the UK Absolutely solid phone that I’ll still be using in 2028 for sure I’m at 88% battery health btw

Yeah, I an app designer, a few years back me and my colleagues would upgrade our phones around every 2 years, because the difference would be huge, and the upgrades were exiting. Now? I’m rocking an iPhone 12 Pro i bought in 2022, only because I dropped my old phone from 5 meters up onto concrete.

I have the iPhone 12 Pro since 2021 and I will upgrade to iPhone 17 Pro when it comes out in September

I have a secondhand 12 pro i bought it on May 2024, just a casual gamer and messenger mostly, it last 5-6hours on me before it reach 20%, btw the battery is replace the when i bought it so its 100%bh(from jerryco), it can get 8-10 ML game on medium graphics but if maximum 3-5 rounds, so i advise to play it on minimum graphics to extend your battery life and always bring powerbank if travelling. Works fine for me until now.

I have the 12 pro since 4 months, and i still use ios 18 and its very strong device, good battery health and i never seen lag or getting hot . Cameras impressive gaming 10/10

I still have my iPhone 12 Pro that I preordered and got in release day and it still does everything I can ask of it, though the latest Call of Duty runs a bit slow, which is making me want to upgrade. Them not releasing a smart Siri that answers to more than just basic prompts is really hurting them and I can see why investors sued them. There's no reason for me to have to use ChatGPT on an iPhone, I should be able to talk to Siri like she's an actual personal assistant and not just an easier way to check the weather and set a timer.

Iphone 12 pro user here, but I have the I have had this phone since like march 2021 and its works well but after like 5 years the battery is around 77% and it gets a little laggy once in a while but its still managaable. Im thinking of upgrading to the 17e

i used a 12 pro from 2024 to 2025 and it still actually is a really good phone and has great cameras,,, but the battery just isn’t giving even if i replaced it

Which iphone 12 pro do you have, I also have the 12 Pro and I'm ready to upgrade just based on the lack of storage and other oddities that I feel would be addressed by getting a faster phone. WhatsApp can become unusably slow for minutes at a time, apps I just used will close due to limited RAM; mind you I don't have a single game on my phone, I have bank apps, store apps, and messaging apps mostly, along with various utilities apps, like PW manager, smart home stuff, and various productivity apps (MS, Google suites). Nothing feels like it should be this terrible, and yet somehow its become a little too slow and jittery.

I don’t know how the pros use the iPhone to shoot such amazing photos. I have the iPhone 12 Pro and the photos I shoot are mediocre at best and out of focus or weird lightning at worst. Did they use a tripod everywhere they go?

My kids are getting older and I'm not taking 100 photos a day anymore so when my iPhone 12 Pro is retired I'll likely get whatever iPhone SE is current and call it a day. There’s really no reason for a 12 Pro to be slow at this point even if the OS was getting “heavier.” The 12 Pros have 6GB of RAM, which is now pretty standard across the iPhone lineup even years later. 12 Pro here. Pretty much what the base iPad is for an iPhone, but with an A14 Bionic Chip instead of A16. I feel like this phone can last longer than end of next year.

Replaced my battery about 5 months ago, running IOS 26.6.1 really great device. Holding up well.

I have a 15 pro, and as someone who takes investing and saving very seriously I plan to have it until the moment that apple sends the last security update.

My first iPhone ever was the iPhone 12 Pro Max I’ve had it since I was 10 or 11 years old soon am gonna get a iPhone 15 pro max but either way the iPhone 12 Pro Max will always be a phone I will remeber since it was the first one I had 💙💙💙💙

I work in the Mobility industry, I am still using an iPhone 12 Pro 256GB Blue. I have replaced my own screen and battery, and the phone is still running amazing.

Currently have a 12 pro, works perfectly fine and I get 5 to 6 hours sot from a full charger despite having 74% Bh

gotta gold 12 pro 512g’s at 79% battery health, works absolutely flawlessly I genuinely have no reason to buy a new iPhone, & since I fix phones myself a battery replacement is cake. I also have a black white & teal/green 11 that works perfectly fine as well, jus had to replace the battery a few times. these new iPhones aren’t worth it to me

I’m using a 14 Pro, and thinking about ditching it because is way heavy. I’m going back to my 12 Pro!
