Same thing happened to me with my iPad mini 6 during summer of nearly 2 to 3 years ago. The upper left-hand side of the screen cracked and broke off a little, but it still works even now. (just gotta make sure I don’t get it wet.😅) (And no…I still don’t have a screen protector for it yet.😓)

i used an iPad Mini 6 for 3 years and it was my favorite device, but once my phone severely lapped it in brightness under the hawai'i sun, it started to make me wonder why i'd use it over my phone anywhere but inside, or at home... which defeated the purpose of a super mobile tablet...

Clearly tapping a letter “taps” a different letter My iPad Mini 6 sometimes gets into this state, especially after deleting something, when tapping one of the keys in the lower right corner becomes completely impossible, it always registers as this different key (I don't have the iPad nearby to check which one), and it stays broken like this until I press a few other keys. It's incredibly frustrating and it's been there since day 1.

Bought my iPad Mini 6 for $225 + Apple Pencil 2 for $45 off of Facebook Marketplace during 4th of July. eBay go for around 350 and Apple Pencil separately for 45 - 70 bucks. I saved a ton of money on the iPad but the price of the Apple Pencil seems to be the minimum if you don’t count for shipping

i use one of the smallest iPads (ipad mini 6) and a adjustable stand for 99% of my work now. lack of space sucks but I would just use my phone or laptop to pull up references. maybe one day Ill go back to my 22 inch home tablet haha

What's the cheapest iPad you can get with an OLED screen? I use my iPhone 15 Pro Max over my iPad Mini 6 for media consumption just because I dislike the LCD now.

I have an iPad Mini 6. Perfect size for small cockpits. I use it for Foreflight mostly.

Oof, that's something I am sure would have a small but fanatic niche. My iPad Mini 6 is the only Apple device I own, in my case, but that studio display, man it's pretty.

Good take! I've been using an iPad Mini 6 with the Razer Kishi Ultra and I absolutely love the combo, although it doesn't have quite the games library that Steam has. Still, I'm not much of a gamer so I've been happy enough!

Yep, I love my iPad Mini 6. It's excellent for reading books/comics and streaming, and of course very portable. I draw on it too, and it's so handy as an airplay stylus-enabled tablet for my MacBook – although I overall prefer drawing on my larger Tab S9 Ultra (and prefer Android in general).

Why are desktop pen displays so low in brightness? [...] Even my iPad Mini 6 with only 500 nit beats the hell out of my Wacom Cintiq 16. I should sell the Wacom toward getting the M4 iPad Pro with the insane 1000+nit brightness.

I went through the apps on my iPad mini 6 intending to share the must haves with a family member who brought the latest one and realised I only really use the stock apps for anything productive. Notes isn’t perfect but it’s just so good at what it does.

This stems from the zine - I pushed my iPad mini 6 to its limits with the illustrations and that made me realise I actually outgrew what the mini can offer. Bittersweet moment in hindsight and i loved the experience, but it was a constant plea to my device not die on me bc of low ram and storage

iPad artists, halp! I wanna upgrade my iPad Mini 6 from iPadOS 18 to iPadOS 26. Will my Procreate files get deleted or is it just a bigger update with everything staying the same?

I own the iPad Mini 6, so I really look forward to see if the new upcoming Mini 7 will maybe have pencil hover with regular Pencil 2, or, shall we dream, rotation detection with the Pencil Pro. Those would be significant reasons to upgrade, as an artist coming from Wacom.

I'm mildly annoyed that a lot of the fancier tech pouch slings have enough width to fit a ipad mini 6 but not the ipad mini 5 [with a case and a pencil, mind] the samsung can be the daily driver and digital sketchbook, although I keep some fieldnotes and muji pens around too. less stuff to babysit
