iPad Air M1

They did not seem to succeed very well. On my M1 iPad Air and iPhone 12 mini background YT playback works mostly fine via Brave, although you might have to go to full screen first before you enter background mode.

My iPad Air M1 has Touch ID on the button. Why can't the next SE have that? If it does, and still has MagSafe, I may actually "upgrade" my 15 Pro for the SE.

Since upgrading to iPad 18.2 the battery life on my iPad Air M1 has been abysmal. I just turned of Apple Intelligence to see if that’s the culprit…

i'm no longer satisfied with the size of my ipad air m1. i either now need to get the biggest ipad pro or switch to huion kamvas 24" or even something bigger

The on screen keyboard is really best in class if you have to enter text on a screen. For entering and editing larger text, I use a Bluetooth mechanical keyboard paired with my iPad. [...] Really don’t see the problem with entering text (written on my iPad Air m1 with on screen keyboard)… Had 2 pencils, broke both within 1 week when they rolled of the table…

Found a refurbished ipad air M1 and refurbed compatible apple pencil. Forgot that a) clip studio on mobile devices is subscription-only, and b) apparently I bought procreate back in 2014 or earlier when I briefly had an ipad, but ultimately I didn’t like the drawing experience at that time.

when i'm clear of outstanding debt to my lenders, i'm treating myself to an upgrade from my iPad air (M1) to the pro variant w the latest chip if it's the M6 by that time. mine is showing its age. when using stage manager w multiple apps active, i can get a moderate level of unwanted latency.

The flip side here is if I could use an iPad to replace the MacMini on my desk and connect to a monitor with the same support my Mac does I'd most likely have a top end iPad Pro as opposed to my mildly spec'd MacMini M2 and iPad Air M1. I'd literally spend MORE money on that 1 iPad than both existing iPad and Macs I have today.

oof. i havent noticed anything with my ipad air m1 but i dont use it very often

Its almost been 3 days. Desk Power 1 is my 2 routers, my Raspberry Pi 4, my phone/watch charger and my 2 monitors. Desk power 2 is my Mac mini and my iPad Air M1 plugged into it at all times, my PC, my Apple TV, my high powered fan which is always on but adapts to ambient temps and a KVM switch.
