Galaxy Z Fold 7

I saw a tweet recently that perfectly encapsulates this: for most people over 30, certain things are "big screen tasks". I use my phone for a lot, but for some things I put the phone down and use my computer instead. I am most comfortable using a large screen and a keyboard for anything that requires writing more than a few words or using any interface for more than a few clicks. [...] From the frontier of mobile tech, I can say that a foldable phone (Galaxy Z Fold 7) is the first mobile device that successfully ate into this category, and bit a rather substantial chunks out of it. It's only been 6 months into this experience, but the "big tasks" for me now are the ones that benefit from substantial use of keyboard and/or mouse. If it's only about screen space or doing things in 2-3 apps at the time, chances are my phone is now good enough for its mobility to beat inconvenience - though chances are also good that at least one of the programs will be a browser, because mobile apps still suck.

At least for me, the effect is real, and is driven not by media consumption but ergonomics of use. FWIW, I still have a proper desktop PC; In the past decade+, I've been using a PC at home, and a "sidearm" on the go / away from home: always a 2-in-1 Windows laptop with top specs[0]. Had my fold 7 for about 10 months and love it. Did nearly get my head turned by the fold 8 but just could justify the dosh. The 8 ultra might be one I look at in the future when I can get a deal.

I pulled the trigger on this last year as well, been with iphone since the iphone 3... its literally not even comparable i fell in love with foldables and also all the customization

Had my fold 7 for just over a year and have had no complaints. Even when opened, the crease still seems the same as day 1. While there is a slight crease, it isn't enough for me to say it bothers me at all.

Its been a year i dont have a complaint tbh. Its just a phone with 2 screens just as i want it

Had to file a Samsung Care for me ZF7 AND the hinge on my almost 1 yr old match the new one. These are amazing devices.

Yeah I thought my fold 6 for over a year I don't regret it at all and it's fantastic personally I actually liked the Pixel fold a little bit more but only because of the dimensions and the look this has been a great foldable phone and I will never ever ever go back

This makes older content like shows and emulated games fill almost the entire screen without giving overly huge black bars on 16:9 content. Now on the Fold 7 the outer screen is almost like a normal phone and the inner screen is almost a perfect square. I have traded iphone 14 pro.max with Zfold 8 ultra .no regrets and it is the best phone I have ever purchased

My main reason for going Fold 7 was the other display as the screen is big but a bit narrow and is a one hand device . I can open up and use the inner tablet experience , but i use it 80% ot the time folded . It's just a very comfortable phone

Bought one about 3 weeks ago and love it. I don't miss the s-pen. Still can't believe how thin it is.

Honestly, for it's weight and slim profile, I have no complaints about it's battery life. I've been using it as a daily driver as well as my car's infotainment system at times (have an older car). [...] It's enough for a whole day of work and navigation with some battery to spare when I get home. It charges reasonably fast enough for my use case.

I use this as my daily driver and love it. I still use my s24 ultra as a secondary phone

As someone who’s been stuck with the same basic iPhone shape since the iPhone 5, the Z Fold 7 and S24 Ultra are insanely refreshing. Seeing the shape of this phone completely changed the game for me, I knew instantly I had to buy it.

Been rocking the fold 7 for a while now. i had the flip 6 and was a fan but then the s25 Edge came out and i loved it for a few months, but glad i went to the fold 7 so good to watch tv shows on and play games with my backbone.

I am grateful that my front screen on my zfold 7 is wider than my old zfold 5. It is easier now to text on the front screen. Also they got rid of those darn curved edges that i hated which i am also grateful for.

Im obsessed. I bought it for work because I needed to appraise vehicles and have access to my computer. It's amazing to have the best of both worlds.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 (yes 7) and it's fantastic! I was tired of Apple issues.

I received mine a couple days before release day. This is the best phone I've ever had. I love it!

Mine works fine n I used it alot maybe not as good as iPhone but for an 8 inch screen ,games n multitasking it's just fine without overheating

Portrait YouTube is literally my favorite feature of the folding phones. I use it all the time and when I am using a normal phone I miss it so much.

Good morning from Germany 😊. Nice video. I used the Galaxy Fold 3 and 4. The Flip 5 , Pixel 9 Pro and 10 Pro Fold. I like the concept of a foldable phone. I noticed I prefer the smaller form factor. So I ended up buying the Flip 7 512gb version. I'm very happy with it. I use this phone with my Galaxy watch 8 44 mm version and buds 3 Pro. Definitely upgrading to the buds 4 pro. Enjoy the day😊.

I love Samsung, owning a Fold 7, S24 Ultra, Watch Ultra, and Tab S9 Ultra. There are previous generation products too, but the build quality on the Fold 7 has quite disappointed me. The anode layer on the jet black color is so easy to peel.

Got this about a month ago, took some time to get used to it as it is the first time I use a fold phone. Got some issues with it but the benefit of the bigger screen justify it. In terms of battery/charging, I don't really mind it, as I charge it at work.

The only weakness with the Fold cameras are the Zoom cameras. Besides that, the Fold 7 imo has the best cameras ive seen, and yes, i own the S26 Ultra, used Xiaomi, and own One Plus 15. [...]

I understand why people complain about the battery life, but bigger batteries usually bring extra weight. [...] It tried the Motorola Fold and liked the battery life and telephoto. But my 77 year old hands found it noticeably heavier, and the software experience nonwhere as refined as OneUI.

I loved my fold but you didn't mention durability you have to be prepared to fork out every few years as the phones mechanics degrade after a lot of use

I just sold my ZFL 7 and now i am using the S25 Ultra. The ultra is a great phone but i am really missing the fold. I will defiantly be getting the ZFLD 8

The Z fold 7 has been a banger, last Android phone i used was the Note 9 :) ...Battery is the only knock imo

Your use case is similar to mine: a very versatile phone. Personally, I don't have a problem with the battery; it easily lasts me all day. I only have two complaints: the telephoto and the hole punch.
