Galaxy Z Fold 6

I'm refusing to upgrade my 6 years old phone because all the good phones I would want don't have headphone jacks :( Just think about it, the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is half an inch thick and they'll still complain they don't have the room for a headphone jack. Absolutely infuriating.

I've used the z fold 6 for about 9 months and it comes with me pretty much everywhere. It's my phone and i use it a lot for entertainment, yes, but i wasn't expecting it to become more or less my main computer. There are still some things i do on my laptop but i only bring my phone + HDMI on trips bc there is always a monitor and Dex is amazing.

I had the Z4 but after about a year the middle crease on the screen started cracking. [...] I miss the bigger screen but I can't complain about the S26 with all the features it has and the battery life. [...]

Huzzah! My Galaxy Z Fold 6 is finally getting the OneUI 8.5 update. I was starting to wonder if my phone was ever going to pick it up.

I just got one yesterday. This is my first fold coming from a S22 Ultra and I do like it. Its going to take me some time to get use to the narrow front screen.

i don't like z fold 7. It's too wide for 1 hadn use and it feels fragile. I prefer the z fold 6.

Just bought it for 690eur from eBay in perfect new condition! Amazing phone, selling my iPhone 15 pro now :)

All week long, Samsung, and of course the Goole AI , keep telling me there is nothing wrong on their side but Samsung told me I can take my phone to an authorized repair shop over fifty miles away, and pay out of my pocket to have the phone checked out. You can not rely on Samsung in an emergence; you may want to consider a cheap backup phone if you need emergency services. [...]

The Fold 6 is the first Fold i havent had to replace multiple times a year

I went back to a slab phone for two weeks while I waited for my replacement phone to come in, and I could not get used to a regular slab phone anymore. I thought it was just a fluke of a day or two to readjust, but I just couldn't use it knowing that I was missing all of that screen real estate.

I was hyped for the Fold 7 as well, until I learned it doesn't have UDC. So went online and found a great deal on a brand new Fold 6 Navy blue. Really looking forward 😁

Funnily enough, one of the biggest criticisms people have of this phone (the narrow outer display) is part of why I just ordered one rather than waiting a month for the Fold 7. I have a 2019 Skoda Octavia RS, and this car has one feature which is both a blessing and a curse - it has a wireless charging compartment just below the AC controls. [...] Jeans pockets in particular can be a tight fit, and even when I wear trousers to work having such a big bulky phone on my pocket can be annoying when trying to bend down, etc. A few months back I saw a Fold 6 in a shop and I was shocked by just how nice the form factor was. Like the review I was trying to hold out for the fold 7 and my s23 ultra broke and I needed repairs im out of the country so it was better to upgrade so I bought a refurbished fold 6 and I love it for calls and when im out in public the outer display is perfect when I'm at home or need to do business stuff I use the inner display. If the rumors about the fold 7 are true and samsung has great deals I'll upgrade if not I'll wait to see what they do with tbe fold 8

I cannot text using the outter screen especially with the Samsung Keyboard. The Microsoft or Google work better.

I don’t know why people care so much about the camera…phone cameras aren’t good even on the high end, it’s good enough and I have 2 professional cameras for work

Ive had every fold since fold 2. I have always had a 2nd phone though to switch back and forth with. I will say i am able to do a lot of work on the go using the fold and not having to always carry a tablet or laptop. But i do have very specific use cases.

I had almost all the foldable you could possibly get, last i hadia Oppo n5. I still have the zfold6 and i love It, for the 7 i only Wish a battery at last of 5k mAh and fast charging, thats all i ask!!

[...] You can actually use the AI assistant writing stuff in the entire OS without needing to use Samsung. I used gboard on my s25 ultra and whenever I need to use the AI stuff you just click on the cursor in a text area anywhere in the OS and it lets you use the writing tools.

Watching on my ZFold6 with no regrets. After the Oppo Find N5 Release and their announcement about not joining the European market, I just bought the Z Fold6. Incredible phone! Big upgrade from an iPhone 14 Pro.

been using a Z Fold 6 since release, it's great. Though I might trade it in for the rumored G Fold if that ends up being real

I keep coming back to the z fold 6. Software is superior. Foldables are king to me and I've had Oneplus and Google and I would've had the Oneplus had they come out with a Open 2 but I can't subscribe to a inconsistent company plus they can't compete as for ecosystem anyway neither Google even though I love the Software I don't think they make use of the fold big screen enough. I hope we do not get a wider screen, I lov th thin profile for checking notifications and replying. But having the option for big screen fun. If it gets any bigger you might as well buy a normal slab phone

I love my fold 6 I can't use Samsungs keyboard either. I installed Gboard as the default.

I've been using the Fold 6 since launch also and have been a long-time Samsung knight lol. The cameras to me are not that bad honestly. [...] Coming from an S24 Ultra I really do not see a huge drop off in quality other than the ability to uitilize ridiculous zoom.

Love my Z Fold 6. I plan to upgrade in a few months to the Z Fold 7.

I have scratches on my front screen z but yes it's crazy durable. I need to stop dropping it lol

I only use the outside screen maybe 10% of the time to turn my home alarm on and off as I'm going in and out or occasionally grab a quick photo when I don't have time to open it up. The rest of the time I have it open looking at YouTube Facebook reading articles whatever so I'm okay with the small one-handed screen but I look forward to the fold 7 with bigger screens.

I love my Z Fold 6. Actually I use it as a tablet . Got the regular S24 as my phone.

But will the inner screen die in 7 months? Bc that happened to every fold I ever owned.

From ditching my laptop for 2 weeks with a Galaxy Z Fold 6 to begging Samsung to include DeX with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7, I cannot stop saying good things about Samsung DeX 😍

I have this and the s24u. Love them both. I actually use the fold as daily driver though

I disagree with the under display camera point, if you want to take. A selfie you can just use the main camera on the back and the back screen view, I don’t want screen real estate being taken up on big screen that am not going to use

Got the same color z fold 6 at 43% off on Black Friday. My first foray into foldables.

have to admit , i got my fold6 the day it landed in Australia (July 21) and have used it exclusively as my phone/work tablet, it really has made editing photos, handling emails/work while travelling so much simpler and a hell of alot lighter.. only annoyance i have is i somehow chipped the frame near the hinge 🤦 as much as i loved the flat anodised (silver) paint, now i wish it was just brushed metal.. overall though i love tye phone as it saves me carrying a laptop , phone and ipad though i still have a laptop if i need to tether into it from my work camera

1:25 It's not just because of pricing, it's also about what your getting for the price.Same cameras as last years model, same 25w charging speeds, no charger in the box, no s pen in the box, no earbuds in the box like the first galaxy fold i bought, and now not even a screen protector this year 👎🏼.
