Bought a Galaxy Watch 7 two years ago, the hardware is good and One UI on the watch itself is also quite good (and the last major update improved it) but Samsung Health is such a shit app. [...] Downloading my personal data doesn't even work, it sends me right to the browser with an error message that I'm "not logged in correctly" and it wants access to all my pictures & videos (seems like a wrong permission prompt there but when I decline it it also fails with "we need access to all your photos & videos". [...] There is now a notice that my data wasn't backupped to my Samsung account the last 3 days (???) and the data synchronization doesn't work, the buttons do nothing, it just says "disabled" even though everything is enabled... [...]
If it makes you feel any better, I've got a perhaps Galaxy Watch 7 from almost a year ago or so running wearOS, and it's battery life is at best at the 36 hour mark regardless. Came from an older tizen-based watch with similar battery life, and at least wearOS is far more funtional.
Now this is a gorgeous watch. That's only $11,500 outside my price limit. Though I got a Galaxy Watch 7 LTE, 46mm in April, and that's like CAD$700.
I have a Galaxy Watch 7 that I keep on silent ("Mute all sounds"). [...] I don't use it to do a lot, but I've come to rely on the things I do use it for and I use it frequently. I use it: - To tell the time - Set one-off timers/alarms - Recurring silent/vibration alarms throughout the day Wake up, start work, mid-morning break/checkpoint, lunch, end lunch, mid-day break/checkpoint, 30 minutes before "clock out", end of work day, and medication reminders - For silent/vibration notifications (HEAVILY filtered. Mostly messages from VIPs, security camera notifications, reminders, "rain in 15 minutes") - Set reminders "Remind me tomorrow morning to schedule a vet appointment" - Add things to different shopping lists (grocery list, shopping list, etc) - Quick, short-term notes ("10 M4x20mm screws") - Casual health tracking: sleep, step count, activity minutes, etc Almost every one of my interactions with it is via voice/Gemini.
[...] I wish I has the early OS on the current Galaxy Watch 7 hardware... [...] It does what i want, I can wear it all day and all night and charge it back to 100% in the time it takes me to have a shower get a cuppa and be ready to walk out the door. Smartwatches can do it! I use a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 because I managed to convince the guy to include one when I went to upgrade my phone mwuaha It tracks sleep, activity levels, heart rate, etc to estimate it. Not always 100% accurate but as a chronically ill baby it really helps me plan my days
So I have my Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 basically all set up except it keeps saying "Add Location on phone" for the weather app. I do have location enabled on both my phone AND the watch so wth?! 😡
Yeah, I went with a galaxy watch 7 with my pixel, I need sapphire display on my watch or it's garbage in a few months😜
Ordered a new phone and got free galaxy 3 pro earbuds and a free galaxy watch 7. [...] In fact, to prove it, I'm not telling you where I bought them... [...]
FitBit or Garmin has some good ones specifically for the gym, (personally I have a Galaxy Watch 7 but I use it for many things)
I do, I have had various versions over the years. Currently on Galaxy Watch 7
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 today. Y'know, cuz that was the only thing holding me back from being serious about my fitness journey.

Common Galaxy Watch 7 problems
Issues at least two owners independently report.
No recurring complaint pattern found across the reviews analyzed. That's a genuinely good sign — it means owners aren't converging on the same problem.
