Maybe it sends the payload after coming back online, but for I can for instance leave with only my galaxy watch 6, which doesn't have esim, and I'm able to make payments as long as I connect it with my phone before leaving the house.
Yeah finger clamps shine through the finger completely. [...] I never tried Apple's implementation as I don't have an apple phone to pair it with, but my galaxy watch 6's SpO2 works pretty decently compared to a finger clamp one, considering it is much harder to do it on the wrist.
The GoldenEye skin also gets bonus points for having an idle state that looks like a normal wristwatch, such a nice touch. My watch's screenshot feature didn't work when idle so enjoy this hastily taken photo lol. It's a Galaxy Watch 6 btw, and I also use it with Pulsoid for OSC heartrate data

Sorry I didn't clarify; it's on my Galaxy Watch 6. No issues on my phone, other that wishing the app offered a 'zoom in and out' ability without needing to pinch the screen to zoom. ( - +)
