I've had my Samsung Galaxy Android S22 phone since 2022 it's still like brand new. I get the updates so why spend hundreds of dollars on a new phone 🤳🏿 I also have a Samsung Galaxy watch 4 since 2021 it's still like brand new. Why would I spend hundreds of dollars for a new one I don't need it.

I have had my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 for about 4 or 5 years now. It's starting to show signs of aging (slow decreased battery life). [...] I bought a Garmin yesterday. And I feel like I have cheated on my watch!
Interesting that the alarm is such a far down feature for you. I use a galaxy watch 4, and i dont think i can ever go back from a silent alarm. Nicer to wake up to, and doesn't wake up everyone in the house as well

I'm just using a normal Galaxy Watch 4 and a new app I found last week called GlucoDataHandler, I have to sign into LibreLinkUp through it and it lets me put complications on both my phone's home screen and smart watch.
a debloated watch is a happy watch anyways i got a galaxy watch 4 for like $50 recently so i am a watch user now im also insane so yea i only have installed what i would use i dont need the rest

I'm using a cheap samsung watch, maybe 4? [...] What's specially shitty with using a wearos watch with an android phone is that clock's alarms etc do not sync, at least not between grapheneos <- samsung galaxy watch 4. I have to use use turboclock which has a wearos app to get wakeup alarms to my watch.
I have a galaxy watch 4 which I'd hoped was old-enough to be supported but I can see that it is not. I get it, hardware is hard. I'm curious, is the challenge with newer hardware lack of chipset drivers for modern watches, or is there a fundamental difference between the new devices and the old ones that make them completely incompatible with asteroidOS?

Wear OS watches commonly have wifi, and can be programmed with the standard Android API and toolchain/IDEs. [...] I'm currently wearing a TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra, which has wifi, Bluetooth, and GPS. unfortunately my watch is a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and it requires Google services sooo it won't work
One thing you would really benefit from that you don't need a doctor for is getting your BG displayed on a smartwatch. Assuming you have an Android phone and a compatible smartwatch (Galaxy Watch4 in my case): 1.
