Galaxy A55

I bought the Samsung A55 5G in August 2024 and after 2 years I still have the old update 😢😢 One UI 6.1 and Android 14... What should I do?

I have It. Use It in daily basis and still works well. It's been almost 2 years.

I have the A55.almost a year and 8 months and it's still working great.

Watching on my A55 it has been 2 years and still device is more than capable in every tasl i throw at it

Using A33 from past 2.5 years battery gives me 5-6 hours of Screen on time , it lags a lil while heavy gaming , camera is still Good, running on one ui 7 android 15 still have one more android update pending plus 2 years of security update so yeah samsung is overall good choice ❤

I bought this phone specifically for the SD card slot and AMOLED screen. Even if you have Android 16 it's not guaranteed the terminal works. It's disabled by Samsung on my Galaxy A55 for some reason. Maybe the hardware doesn't support the feature.

This seems really inaccurate to me. I had to manually enter my device (Galaxy A55 5G), and then I held a tape measure next to my phone. What the site claimed was 16cm was actually only 14.3cm.

Just bought it from CompAsia for like 42% price. Still worth it, especially I am after the microsd card slot.

Takes time to find out all the possabilities of the cameras and especial the pro mode,but its worth it.Results are awsome,p.s i also use the snapseed to create art.🎉

It gets slow sometimes for no reason and quick panel lag is annoying sometimes. For 475 euros at launch I think I spent too much for what it is - not much better than a52s that I previously owned except battery

I just got my A55 Enterprise edition for 330euros and i am completely satisfied with it

Actually the Nothing Phone 2a was something I considered for my last purchase. They are absolute middle class killers but as I got the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G for quite a discount it was just the better deal. At the original prices I'd have preferred the Nothing Phone any day.

I got my a55 in august its good it's very expensivy. Honesty it's a good phone great price maybe a little bit expensive but if its on sale it's amazing

Anyone experiencing GPS issues? I've read so much about it, but haven't used the GPS yet (but will be travelling soon). If I knew this was gonna be an issue (a deal breaker), I wouldn't have gotten the phone..

I use the A55 and I am able to play CODM on maximum graphics

The price is good and as a parent who bought this phone for my teen daughter, she said that the looks were good and not only that she said that she could go with around 50 percent the whole day. Got the 12/256 variant. If you're interested in this model, better pick the 12gb RAM model since they're now getting cheaper. If you have no issues with holding a bigger handset, then maybe consider the S24fe, otherwise, this (for me) is a much more comfortable unit to hold.

Got mine at the end of November and glad I went with the A55 instead of the S24 FE that costed almost twice, the A55 is a great phone, what a beast for the price.

I'm watching on my A55 I love multitasking, and it does it so well for me without any lags. I am patiently waiting for One Ui7 to see how the phone copes with it. I will be hoping to get a new Samsung phone in the next 4 years to come.

I have this phone however sometimes it just gives me yellowish pictures how do i deal with that,,😢😢im thinking of selling it coz i dont like the yellowish effect it has on my photos i wish it gave more natural colours

I bought a new galaxy A55 5g but it does not support video stabilization on FHD 60 frame and 4k 30 frame...It works only at FHD 30 frame.

While using this phone for weeks, i just experienced some bugs. I'm thinking that the bug might be on software, but the phone is great. samsung really have nice number of updates because for a short time i did receive like 4 updates already

People often forget that THIS PHONE IS A MIDRANGE PHONE! When you add many desired features, it already starts to move to the upper class. I ordered an A55. I have tried it out many times and it has pleased me. Maybe if it was just a little smaller I would have been even more pleased.

This phone is similar to an s21 in terms of performance and premium construction, I bought it a week ago and I gave it somewhere for 250 euros, I can say that for this money it has no competition

I have The A54 and it's really awesome, although haven't updated to Android 14 yet ,The Exynos 1380 is good ...

I love it but I'm currently using the A35 5G because I believe there's not so much difference between the two phones😊

Not that I'd really use them, but I'm still bummed my a55 doesn't have the galaxy AI features

Its bezel is not that thick though my brother...,its somewhat alright to me, which is the bezel of the phone...well that is my personal opinion...but...the thing which bother me is about the chipset or the performance....which is they are using 1450 exynos....which is bad....becoz they should have atleast used snapdragon...and minimumly snapdragon 7s gen 4 or if they used mediatek dimensity they should have used mediatek 8450 ultra...

same thoughts as you I really liked the A series I mean it has great display , speakers , software , long updates , premium look but the only thing where it lacks is its processor which totally doesn't handles the overall experience , instead if they add snapdragon it will be really great . Samsung need to either stop using exynos in A series and just put it in M and F (dont know why this series even exists , It just duplicate of M ) .

My family only uses the flagship high end phones when i got the a55 i felt the lag but its not to massive i hope it gets fixed in one ui7

Shame they're not releasing this in the US. I liked the A54 (mostly because of the micro SD card slot).... it had issues playing Rocket League Sideswipe (which I play a lot)... and had no DeX or USB-C video out, but otherwise, it was a good phone. I'm debating buying the A55 to import it... I'll have to check frequencies for the TMobile US market to see if they're all covered.

I have it and I am decently satisfied, but it definetly heats up fast and a lot, which causes lag.

this phone is great and i suppose it is one of the best options in this price overall, but i thinks the next phone im gonna buy will be a google pixel one
