i've used the elgato wave 3 for four years at this point, i've never had a single problem with it
I've been using the Elgato Wave 3 for close to two years now and love it.
For my streaming friends out there: I've been using a cheap $25 Amazon mic for the past 1.5 years and I'd love a better sound experience. I'm torn between something like the Elgato Wave 3 or diving into the audio interface + XLR mic world. Any tips?
I use the Elgato Wave:3, which is more table-level: The software is also surprisingly useful, and includes a mixer and real-time-audio effects which are expensive to do outside of the software on macOS.
It felt like the foam did improve audio quality but I think the only thing that measurably reduced noise from outside was solid core door. Pricey though! Agreed that a good microphone is a huge help. I currently use Elgato Wave:3 which is not as fancy as one can go.
My dad has been using my Elgato Wave 3 mic to record his voice on the weekly radio show he hosts for several years now. Since I’m moving out, I’ll be taking the mic with me and I feel kinda bad. Maybe I’ll buy him his own for Father’s Day…
I really love my Elgato Wave:3. It's the first mic that I've actually gotten compliments about my voice when I use it.
Because i already have an Elgato Wave 3 and it was a gift from my community for my Affiliate Anniversary, I've been using my Nari Ultimates for the past 6 1/2 years, and while i don't need the headset mic i like not spreadign myself across too many brands.

I've had my Elgato Wave 3 for a few years now and it's a really solid mic, but I mostly like it because of the audio routing software. It can take a sec to get used to, but you can direct programs directly to certain audio outputs and choose which ones you hear and which ones stream hears
Well, I use an Elgato Wave:3 BUT I got it on sale in Australia so I'd say it depends on sales etc where you are for costs!
I'm running the elgato wave 3 and I have had no complaints with it.
The Elgato Wave 3 works great with my laptop. No problems at all switching to or from it.
I have fantastic noise cancelling headphones from Bose, but that doesn't reduce the sound for folks listening to my microphone or for recorded audio in my videos. I do also have a pretty decent microphone (Elgato Wave 3) with a pop filter and arm, which definitely helps, but you can still hear my partner in recordings.
I've always been using a Elgato Wave 3 but it's a pricy microphone, and even then I have the problem that with the nvidia background sound removal it can pick up voices very easily. There are ways to minimize this, but my setup is very unique that I don't need headphones
