These cancel noise so well that I have had to file a missing child report.
I have these, and recommend charging them on an IsoAcoustics acoustic isolator. They sound SO much better after charging with no vibration. Trust me, bro.
I have the ultra buds, first gen. Super comfy, good ANC. I hit em with some EQ to make them less v shaped.
I use the Sound ID app to tune the earbuds to a neutral response. They sound amazing with that.
You actually sold me with saying its "too bassy" cause most earbuds dont have NEAR enough for me aside from other quietcomfort earbuds lol. I have the older first gen and decided to skip the last gen so I an very excited to try this one then!

So, I bought them and have been playing around with them today. The sound is very much to my liking after dialing in the changes to bass, treble, and—as you suggested—compensating for the rise between 2 and 3 kHz. Way up in the treble, there are still some inconsistencies for me, but I don't think that affects the sound quality much at all. So, as I said, I am very happy with the sound. The fit is good, ANC works well, and transparency mode is good. The Issue: ANC Noise Floor When ANC is activated, there is a constant white noise in the background, and it is rather loud. [...] Second Problem: Wind Noise Wind noise when ANC is activated is a concern—it was a pretty windy day today. Up to a point, that is fine, but if it gets stronger than roughly 15 km/h, you will hear a hissing sound that can get so loud that you won't hear much of the audio being played. The only solution seems to be turning ANC off completely. [...] Do I keep them—they sound amazing—or do I get another pair?
The qc buds (2024), which have better battery life, 5 bands of EQ, supposedly pretty much the same base tuning and ANC capability (thought I haven't tried the ultra gen 2 to compare)... And they look better (subjective) and are much cheaper (objective). [...] The chonker case feels very flimsy though.

What about the connection issues? My 2 Bose products both have them with iPhones over years. Is it fixed now?
