The best eye tracking I had was the first 6 weeks I owned it last February 🤷🏻‍♂️ flawless back then

I’ve had mine six months, and love it! It’s such a new device that you really can’t form an opinion about it until you’ve tried it for at least a month.

I use the Apple Vision Pro as my main display, programming for 8+ hours per day. Zero issues as long as you're willing to use larger screens! The PPD on this looks very similar, possibly a bit better due to its lower FOV.

For what it's worth, I use the Apple Vision Pro as my primary display for an average of 8+ hours a day without any issues. I have years of experience with previous headsets, but my wife has no issues with the AVP's weight either, despite having no prior experience.

I used to have an Apple Vision Pro; it was a genuinely great piece of tech. IMO if Apple went somewhere like wearable glasses with it, it'd be a hit.

My Apple Vision Pro has all that, and it’s perfect for posture when using a MacBook.

Just got the M5 Vision Pro for the ultimate portable laptop screen. Well worth the $$ … bonus is spacial pics/videos and 3D movies are next level. Thank You Apple , this changed the game for me never having to deal with eyes burning out of my head from staring at a laptop screen ever again !! Ps: I did purchase a 3rd party headstrap add on so I could wear it all day comfortably.

I don't understand why mac virtual display is so hyped. I have tried very hard to use my Vision Pro as external display but to my disappointment the comfort and quality is nothing close to an external monitor. The display isn't sharp enough for me.

The Vision Pro is amazing, the future of computing for sure. With VOS2 I use it every day. It is an entertainment and productivity marvel, way ahead of Meta.

I feel like I am the only one who does not have comfort issues with the solo loop it’s honestly so nice to me and not that heavy after 2 months

You can use a track pad for small things. I run Davinci Resolve for iPad with it.

Steve would’ve marketed the 💩 out of this. Somewhat OT: I think people have paid close to this amount of money for bigger screen TV’s. And things the best “tv” I’ve ever owned.

I use my Vision Pro more than I did when I purchased it. I use it as a larger monitor with my MacBook pro. Combine the two and it's super useful.

I still use mine all the time. I can’t wait to start wearing it each day. I think I am the prime case though as I spend most of my time in a solitary environment. It really is a very personalised device and not for everyone however, I think everyone should at least try it once.

I'm very surprised that you didn't find Spatial Video and Photos appealing given that you have a two-year old son. This has been the greatest value for me. [...] The new 2D to 3D photo conversion feature in visionOS 2 is really good! The quality of the conversions are generally excellent and higher definition than what you can capture on the Vision Pro itself. It is a really special experience to view old photos of yourself and your family and your travels in 3D. The display makes all the difference (no, you can't get the same experience on the Quest 3). I'm hoping that Apple extends the 2D to 3D conversion to panoramic photos, which even in 2D are a great, immersive experience that is not talked about much.

I use mine daily. [...] That external screen could be used to so many things - including knowing when it’s rebooted, when updates are completed, when tasks initiated within the headset are completed after you’ve removed the headset, etc.

Something that was a recent game changer for me was using Vision Pro with a keyboard and mouse. You need the latest version of the magic keyboard and pad, but it really changed the experience for me. I found that my biggest pain point was typing, and most of my productivity depends on being able to quickly typ.

I own both devices. Zuck is not wrong-the quest 3 is a better product at a fraction of the price. The Vision Pro is mind-bogglingly limited. [...] AVP is fine for a floating screen but multitasking isn’t supported and even though it does have lower latency than quest it only has about one or two use cases and under 5 usable applications. This might sound stupid, but I use the Vision Pro every day to read the digital versions of the local newspapers in Los Angeles. The stories are in one piece, and the photos look great.

I can only agree with this review - it’s a great product for early adopters. I’ve only had mine for a month, but use it for hours every day, both for productivity and leisure - and since I’m in Sweden with a Swedish AppleID I can’t install any 3rd party apps. I still love it.

I tested a handful of the models with my Apple Vision Pro, 3d quality is still pretty early stage I would say. I plan to use it as a benchmark and repeat the experiment with the next generation of models and compare the progress.
