Matias Sculpted keyboard… Although it was a decent effort, their overall build quality is pretty cheap, and it's not good enough to recommend I concur. I thought I'd save a few bucks by buying the Matias keyboard that looks like the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. After all, there are thousands of people on the internet who swear that Apple's prices are disconnected from build quality. [...] The Matias keyboard lasted all of a year. I just got an Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad Air 4th Gen. [...] I’ve had my ipad for about 2 years now and it has never felt more usable than this. Feels like the keyboard has unlocked the ipad’s full power.

Apple keyboards are near-horrific IMO I visited a mechanical keyboard shop, tried about 20 of them including low profile variants, then visited an Apple shop. Just give me two monitors, a stock install of Ubuntu, and any $20 keyboard and I can do anything.

the Apple Magickeyboard b/c it's exactly like a laptop and clicky I'm being super pedantic, but it's not, the switches and especially keycaps are different from what they use in e.g. [...] For 99% they'll be close enough, but for me this makes the magic keyboard a no-go. I guess it's a matter of habit, but after so many years of laptop keyboards everything else feels weird/wrong. I've tried mechanical keyboards (for about half ayear) .. and it always felt like using some antique typewriter b/c of the key travel If I need a detached keyboard then the only one that feels normal is the Apple Magickeyboard b/c it's exactly like a laptop and clicky (the logitech equivalents are very mushy). Mice work fine with the MQ3. I log into my Windows machine with Immersed all the time with many virtual screens and less bandwidth hoggery so I'd have no problem using it over the WAN. It can track an Apple Magic Keyboard so it can show it to me when the passthrough is off.

Having used many mechanical keyboards over the years - including a Model M inherited from my dad - my dirty little secret is that I keep coming back to the Apple Magic Keyboard. I’d never admit it in public, though.

The tilde key on my Apple Magic Keyboard broke so I bought a clicky mechanical keyboard and from now on all my posts will be about the Keychron Q6 Max and the virtues of Gateron Jupiter banana switches.

This is my first post using the IPAD as a suedo typewriter with the $20 logo keys-to-go 2 keyboard in LILAC that WORKS. Still have 7 GB of PHOTOS to DELETE to get the Real Apple Magic Keyboard, that does NOT hold my IPAD up—them magnets are WEAK—to work. HOWEVER this is the SECOND note from TOM R.

The Apple magic keyboard will connect via bluetooth to just about anything. I have used it with an iPhone, Linux computers & an Android tablet & it is practically indestructible. Found it at Goodwill for abt $5 downloaded the manual @ Apple.com Hope that helps!

I've been using the Apple Magic Keyboard for a long, long time now, and I have to wonder if I'll be truly alienated from "mechanical" keyboards, but I like to introduce something new into my life once in a while just to keep things spicy.

Through work I got the new Asus ProArt 5k display and an Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and got a Magic Trackpad from my dad he no longer used. The display supposedly has KVM functionality. I should be able to just plug the keyboard and trackpad into it and everything just works right? [...]

I’ve been using a dumb Apple Magic Keyboard. I like the low profile and low noise but I wouldn’t mind getting something with more travel and louder. I have been working a lot with the arrow and 10 keys, wish I had something that could do it all: split, full, no small arrows, nice medium-short travel

I am not that hardcore of a mech keyboard person where I build my own/lube switches. [...] My problem was instead of buying as switch tester I started buying random keyboards with different switches so I now have too many. I also used to use the Apple magic keyboards those small ones with a cylinder battery holder.

The Apple Magic keyboard I have does this and thought it was a common feature of Bluetooth keyboards. Apparently not...
